I love that the property was close to major shopping malls and the guest contact was very flexible.
The home is beautiful but a few additional items would make it better such as better mirrors in the bathroom and the addition of mirrors in the rooms upstairs.

The Charming Long Island home was perfect for our needs as a large multigenerational family wanting to be together. The host was very accommodating. He responded positively to all our requests, including a last minute request for a two-night extension.
It's not a four-star hotel, but it is clean and the location worked well for us. I have no complaints.

The owner or organizer sent me a text with the door code which was good.
1. The oven smoked on 350. it's Christmas and families are gathering and enjoying the holidays and we couldn't bake anything at 350F. Food took longer to bake. The oven needed cleaning it smoked out the entire kitchen. If you're renting a place with a fridge and stove I expect a fully functioning stove. VERY DISAPPOINTED. For the cost we should have matching towels. The house is old. I also saw a roach crawling out of the oven. This is my first and last time renting an Airbnb. I'll stick to hotels.
