It was OK.

We had a lovely fireplace in our second unit.

The apartment was in poor condition: the bedding was dusty and dirty, and the first unit was infested with insects and bugs.

Cozy and spacious apartment near a national park

The apartment was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a 4-day stay. The location of the apartment was really convenient for exploring as it's within walking distance from Vrdnicka Kula and a 15-20 minute car ride away from 6 beautiful Orthodox historic monasteries. The South-Eastern part of Fruska Gora national park and its many camping sites, wine houses, and beautiful viewpoints are also a short car ride away, no more than 30 minutes. Novi Sad and Petrovaradin Fortress are also a half an hour car ride away, so we made the best out of the long holiday weekend by taking a stroll there as well. The owners are really kind and hospitable, and the directions to the apartment were easy to follow. There's a supermarket in the same building and parking on site, which was really convenient. The apartment was really spacious and well designed with a lot of open space, a huge living room, and a big bathroom. The neighborhood was quiet and we could only hear birds and frogs from one of the two terraces. They are both equipped with lovely garden furniture so it's the best place in town to have your morning coffee. There were tourist maps in the apartment, a set of hand and body towels per person, additional covers and pillows for extra comfort, and a traditional-style coffee kettle which I greatly appreciated! We were staying in the presidential apartment and really loved how relaxed we both feel after the stay.

Everything exceeded my expectations for a lovely and comfortable stay near a national park. There are hiking trails, a spa in Vrdnik, restaurants, and grocery stores. This is my third time in Vrdnik and this is by far the best apartment I've stayed at so far.
