Room was clean. Got balcony but limited space in the room. No fridge. 8 mins walking to train station. 3 mins walking to Denner. 5 mins walking to see the blacknose sheep. 20 mins walking to Matterhorn viewpoint. No air conditioning but weather cool enough. Self check in, system laggy take abit of time. Opposite heliport so abit noisy. Overall ok for this price.

The hotel uses a self check-in system, but the process was a bit troublesome and not very convenient. Luckily, we managed to find a helpful staff member who assisted us.
The location is not very ideal — it’s at the far end in the opposite direction from the train station. You can take bus in front of the train station and walk another 3-5 minutes to hotel. There is also construction around the hotel, so the area was quite dusty.

Check out the hotel one night earlier, sacrifice our one night stay and booked another hotel because we cannot stand not showering with hot water. Took very long to run the water so that it is warm- however, while showering the water may suddenly turned cold again. Considering Zermatt is a slightly colder than other cities in Switzerland, not having hot water really is unbearable. Shower tap is those that you push it down and cannot control to off it. Need to wait till it ownself stop and push down again - super turned off. Very small room, not suitable for couple. Will be suitable for single backpacker with this price. Location is near the helicopter pad, can be very quiet at night so don’t recommend single female traveler. Other than that.. plus point that there is shelving for put our stuff.. overall, suitable for not fussy traveller.
