About this house rental
Set on Tahoe’s North Shore in Carnelian Bay, this neighborhood is a dream basecamp for guests who plan their days around snow conditions in the winter and lake temps in the summer. When the snow is flying, you’re minutes from some of Tahoe’s most respected ski terrain - making early starts, midday breaks, and après evenings at home easy and stress-free. Powder mornings don’t require long drives or packed resort villages, just a quick hop to the lifts and back to the comfort of your own space.
When the snow melts, the lake takes center stage. Calm, clear North Shore waters are ideal for paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming, and boating, with multiple beach access points nearby. Trail systems weave through the area for hiking and mountain biking, offering lake views, shaded forest routes, and quick access to Tahoe City and Kings Beach.
What makes this neighborhood special is the balance. You get immediate access to high-adrenaline recreation without sacrificing peace and privacy. The streets are quiet, the homes are well cared for, and the atmosphere feels residential and refined rather than touristy. After full days on the mountain or water, you return to a setting designed for rest, recovery, and comfort - where luxury feels natural, not flashy.
This is Tahoe living for people who want it all: first chair in the winter, glassy water in the summer, and a calm, elevated place to come home to year-round.
Guests will enjoy private, full access to the home during their stay. The space has been thoughtfully designed to feel open, comfortable, and easy to settle into - whether you’re here for a weekend escape or a longer Tahoe stay.
Inside, the entire home is yours to enjoy. We’ve put extra care into the details that matter most: a well-organized laundry area that makes longer stays effortless, and a fully stocked kitchen with quality cookware and a curated spice collection so cooking at home feels just as enjoyable as dining out. Everything is set up to support a relaxed, elevated experience from the moment you arrive.
For storage purposes, the garage is reserved for owner use and is not part of the guest space. There is also a shed on the property that is used for personal storage. These areas are not needed for guest use.
Otherwise, the home and outdoor spaces are completely yours - designed for comfort, privacy, and a true North Shore Tahoe experience. Settle in, make yourself at home, and enjoy the space as it was intended.
