About this house rental
The Watermelon House is the perfect escape for your next beach holiday. Nestled away in a prime Old Lonsdale location only 100mtrs to the back beach and short 10 minute stroll to the front beach with all the shops and cafes of the main street.
The property offers a master bedroom with king bed and a little sun room for you to relax and enjoy your morning cuppa, a large kids bedroom/retreat offering a TV, couch and plenty of room to play as well as two sets of bunks (1x Single Bunks & 1x King Single Bunks). The 3rd bedroom provides 2 king single beds and a desk.
The light filled open plan kitchen and living area offer an inviting family space to relax in the summer with the doors flung open to the suntrap back yard enjoying the sounds of the ocean, or snuggled up on the comfy couch by the wood fire with a book in winter.
There is a main family bathroom with shower over bath and toilet, and a separate toilet just outside the back door in the outdoor laundry room with washer, dryer and additional fridge.
The north facing back yard has a plumbed in BBQ and outdoor furniture, to enjoy those warm summer nights with family and friends, there is also a cubby house for the kids and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach. To top it off there is rear gate access to the Ganes Reserve playground.
Your furry friend is also welcome, however we ask that they are kept outside.
