Enjoy expansive Gulf views from the multiple decks of this 4BR/3.5BA pet-friendly beach house (Large Dog Friendly! Allows up to 2 well-behaved dogs up to 70lbs and requires advance approval and pet fee of $150 + tax). This well-equipped home has something for everyone!

Relax into the softly hued top floor living area with comfortable seating and large, flat screen TV and DVD player. The large kitchen features stainless steel appliances, dedicated panty, large breakfast counter with additional seating and plenty of space for multiple chefs. The dining table can seat up to 10 with additional dining on the screened-in porch. The covered and furnished deck with daybed swing is the perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise and vast water views. The top floor Master bedroom has a King sized bed, deck access, TV and private bathroom with double vanity, jetted tub and separate, tiled roll-in shower.

Downstairs you’ll find an additional TV space with Queen sleeper sofa and access onto a furnished covered deck with daybed swing overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and private pool. The first of 3 bedrooms on this floor has a Queen sized bed, twin bed w/ trundle pull out (2 twins), TV, access to the covered deck and a private bathroom with double vanity, jetted tub and roll-in shower. The bunk bedroom has two tall bunks (4 twins), TV and deck access. The last bedroom has a King sized bed, TV and access onto the covered deck. A large shared bathroom at the end of the hall features a double vanity and roll-in shower.

Additional amenities include multiple decks overlooking the Gulf of Mexico or the main road, Gulf Beach Drive, a laundry room with full size washer/dryer, main floor half bath and elevator. This home is handicap-friendly with elevator servicing each floor and accessible bathrooms but please note there is no wheelchair ramp available at exterior doors.

Challenge family and friends in a game of yard-sized Jenga and Connect-4 or simply relax in the sun or the shade of the under-house lounge and entertaining area with hot tub. Unwind in the evenings around the firepit or take a dip in your own private pool.

Outdoor features include a covered grilling area with propane grill and 2 single park-style charcoal grills, fish cleaning sink, enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower, shaded and private lounge area with hot tub, fire pit, poolside sundeck and private swimming pool with pool heat option for a $400 fee.

A community beach boardwalk and off-street parking can be found at 8th Street, a quick 3 minute walk from the home.

Plenty of space for gathering outdoors, including a pool, hot tub, grill, and fire pit. It is a very short walk to the beach. We spent a lot of time just relaxing in this clean and spacious home.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience at Barefoot Chic. The house was set up great for multiple families and the kitchen was the best stocked of any house we have rented. Pool was nice and the beach was a short walk away (note that construction started on a house directly in front of this one on our last day of vacation, so unfortunately the gulf view could go away soon). This is the third time we’ve rented from Forgotten Coast and they are by far the best to rent from. They are always very responsive and kind and do what they can to ensure a wonderful stay. A bad storm knocked out the pool heater during our visit and they had maintenance over within an hour to fix the issue. Same with a clogged drain, they had it fixed in no time. While there are other good property management companies on the island, Forgotten Coast continues to show why they’re the best.

We loved the house, pool, hot tub and that it was an easy walk to the beach. The only thing we had an occasional problem with was the buttons on the elevator but all and all I would give this house a five star rating. I wished they had a guest book we could had left them a message about how much we enjoyed their house.
