Cozy cottage on the Rideau, relax with the whole family

The photos don't do this cottage justice. This was a multi-generational vacation. The back deck was much closer to the dock than it appears in the photos. The older generation was able to relax on the upper deck while the younger generation fished off the dock. There was more than enough outdoor patio furniture. The screened in room was awesome for evening meals. The cottage was well stocked with towels, laundry soap and dishwashing soap. The bed linens were so soft. The outdoor BBQ (grill to Americans) was a happy bonus as was the washer and dryer. The fishing off the dock was great - my son caught (and released) about 40 fish in 5 days. My husband caught a 2lb large mouth bass and released it. This was a 3 generation vacation. The cottage was easy to navigate and comfortable for my elderly parents (80 and 89 years old) and perfect for the 2 younger generations. It's only 13 minutes from Westport so easy access to a grocery store and restaurants. We 100% recommend this cozy cottage for a family vacation!

We were there for family wedding, so we unfortunately didn’t spend a lot of time at cottage, but nice spot. Would definitely recommend.

The cottage was beautiful. Very well equipped and the location, view was excellent. We want to come back next year!

Fantastic location in a quiet cove but with a beautiful view looking out across the Upper Rideau. Just 14 minutes to Westport. Excellent fishing right off the dock; pulled in a big Pike and easily caught my limit of both Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass in a week. Hosts really thought of every detail to make their cabin a comfortable and pleasant stay!
