The house was exactly as pictured! Very clean and well stocked. The area was a perfect location with grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants nearby. Additionally the chalet was only about a 40 minute drive to the city. Our only minor issue was that the pet policy listed on VRBO did not match the policy listed with the chalet's actual website. It wasn't a major issue but it did force us to make different accommodations for our dog. The representative at the chalet was responsive and very nice. We also loved the Christmas tree and holiday decorations around the chalet. It made our holiday vacation even more special. We would definitely stay again and would recommend this listing to other travelers. Merci!

Overall, my household of five loved our stay at La Bonita. The place was clean and had plenty of light coming in through the many windows, gorgeous in the winter and I’m sure in other seasons too! The beds were comfortable, all kitchen appliances and the dryer worked well. We loved the communal hot tub, though were disappointed that the electric sauna didn’t get hot enough to melt the ice on the floor, and the wood fired was a non-starter because we were expected to heat it ourselves for a half hour reservation slot. Some things were missing: basic spices (no salt!), hand soap in one of the bathrooms, trash bags beyond the one in the bucket, sufficient dishwasher detergent. Aside from that, a fabulous getaway.

It was a beautiful fall trip in a wonderful home surrounded by peace and quiet. Close to Quebec City and to the local grocery store in Pont-Rouge.
