In Mijas, the holiday home Mijas Tropical, Casita Típica offers an excellent view of the Mediterranean Sea. The 65 m² property consists of a living room with a sofa bed for 2 people, a fully-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls) with a dedicated workspace for home office, a fan, heating, a washing machine, a dryer as well as a TV. There is an air conditioning unit in the living room, that also cools the main bedroom, and another unit in the second bedroom. A baby cot and highchair are also available on request.
The holiday home boasts a private outdoor area with an open terrace and a balcony.
There are many hiking opportunities throughout the Sierra de Mijas area, with different levels of difficulty. A bus stop is 100 metres from the property and a swimming pool is a 15-minute drive away.
Street parking is available, just 200 m from the property.
Pets are not allowed.

The flat is short walk from the bus terminal (frequent and timely services), pharmacy, mountain hiking routes, local restaurants and everything in between. The town itself is beautiful and there are a variety of lovely shops including a very friendly and wonderfully helpful jewellery shop. Plenty of lovely things to do even out of season and beautiful weather (even in January!) And we were there for the three Kings parade which goes past the balcony twice so my daughter had 2-3kg of sweets thrown directly at her through our window, which was her highlight of the whole trip!
Cons: It took us a little while to figure out the space heaters and on January evenings the flat got cold without them. Facilities are basic but that's aligned with the price. The washing machine was a bit awkward to use but the host had openly offered to take our clothes to the laundrette instead if needed.
