## Space
This townhouse is within a few minutes walking distance of the beautiful blue flag beach of Salema, the fresh fish restaurants and the centre of this quaint village. The property has been refurbished to a high standard and is bright and welcoming!
On the ground floor, you find the living/dining room with doors opening onto the spacious south-facing patio. The outside area is very private and has ample space for sunbathing, and it is perfect for enjoying your Alfresco dining. There is an open-plan kitchen with a microwave, small oven and electric induction hob. The freezer and washing machine are located in the utility room. On the same level, we also find a bathroom with a shower.
A staircase leads to the first floor which has two spacious bedrooms with sea views, and one has a small balcony. There is also a high-quality family bathroom.

## Neighborhood
Our holiday home is in Salema, a small village close to Lagos. It is very popular amongst golf lovers, families and nature lovers.
A selection of restaurants & bars allows you to explore local and international food. We recommend trying fresh fish and seafood dishes! There is a supermarket 4 minutes away by car. Like Burgau and Praia da Luz, other beaches are just a short drive away. So whether you want to relax, go for a surf or enjoy a fantastic hike in nature, Budens is the place. And if you crave city life at some point, Lagos is only 20 minutes away.
## Transit
You can reach Salema in about one hour by car from Faro Airport. By public transport, it will take about 4 to 5 hours. There are various taxi and shared shuttle options available as well.
You can easily reach the beach and Salema town on foot. But f you want to explore the area, a (rental) car will make your life much easier as public transport is limited.
Parking is free everywhere in this area.

The view from the balcony was excellent. I took several sunrise pictures from the balcony. The kitchen was well stocked and appliances were easy to use given our nonexistent Portuguese.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the appartment. The views are stunning and the terrace amazing. We loved bbq facilities and have put them to a good use. Kitchen is very well equipped. Appartment very clean with good facilities. Location is great - very close to the beach and still benefitting from views by virtue of being located on the hill. Village is chilled, classy and picturesque with several great restaurant, mini supermarket plus a few convenience stores. Great if you are after a quiet beach experience still with several evening food/drink options. Would definitely recommend.

The home was a sweet, cozy place to stay, with easy access to the village. Hope had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Overall the townhouse met our needs, but did not meet our expectations based on the photos on the listing. The place could use a refresh. The couch was grimy, rug stain, outside funiture not in great shape, I would not use the bbq, kitchenware and utensils not ingreat shape.
