A stone's throw away from all of the action in downtown Bennington, you will fall in love with this charming house. A great space for intimate family gatherings, this house is your gateway from the hustle and bustle of every day life.
The Space:
Filled with modern charm and a bit of Nebraska history, this lovely 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is the perfect retreat for your next getaway.
After a day exploring all the Omaha metro has to offer, relax on the cozy sofas and armchair seating in the family room. Cozy up with your loved ones next to the warmth of the indoor fireplace or enjoy a nightcap and peacefulness while sitting on the spacious covered deck. Unwind for the night watching your favorite show on the flat-screen TVs located upstairs & on the lower level.
Guests will appreciate the fully-equipped kitchen with high-quality stainless steel appliances, where the chef in your family can whip up a delicious meal for the rest of the group while they watch from the kitchen island. Enjoy your scrumptious dinner in the quaint dining area as you share exciting stories from your fun-filled days.
For a night of peaceful rest, the master bedroom features a lovely king-size bed, ample closet space, and a modern bathroom around the corner with dual sinks and shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and ample storage space. A shared full bathroom with single vanity off the entryway is available for guests during your stay.
The lower level features a great size family room with plenty of seating, flat screen TV & large game table with seating. The lower level also features 2 additional bedrooms, 1 with a king size bed and the other with 2 sets of bunk beds each with a full size bed on the bottom. These 2 bedrooms share a sizable full bathroom with shower/tub combo, dual vanities and access from the bedrooms.
Guest Access:
Guest will have access to the entire home, a private outdoor deck, 2 car garage, and a washer & dryer in the house.
The Neighborhood:
This house is the perfect gateway to experience all Bennington and the Omaha metro has to offer. You are in the heart of Old Town Bennington where you will have access to multiple bar and grills, shopping, a library and parks.
With downtown Omaha only a quick 25 minute drive, you can also experience The world renowned Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo, The Old Market, Midtown Crossing, Blackstone District & the Durham and Joslyn Art Museums. We also have some of the best steak restaurants in the country you will definitely want to check out.
Getting Around:
You are within walking distance of downtown Bennington and have easy access to downtown Omaha, West Omaha, Elkhorn, Gretna & Papillion. The Village Point Shopping district is also only 15 minutes away. If you are here for a sports tournament, we are also close to UBT Basketball Complex, Tranquility Soccer Complex & numerous baseball fields. Iowa West Field House is an easy 25 minute drive as well.

Plenty of space to be comfortable- clean and new appliances. The only issue we bad was the A/C was off and it was 85degrees, and it took all night to get it to 78. Need more towels for guests, blankets, and toilet paper. Location was good, cute little town.

The home was very clean and in an absolute perfect location for us given the access to the airport for some of those staying and access to the venue was only 8 mins away. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and plenty of room all around with the open floor plan and finished basement. Modern decor with very comfortable beds. 2 car garage for parking use. Everything as adverstised.

This property has a great location from The Barn, where we had a family wedding. Just the right amount of beds and bathrooms for our large family. Very clean and would stay here again.

Overall a cute house that has the basics needed, in a good location if you want to be close to Omaha without being in Omaha. Property manager was communicative and helpful with questions before check in, allowing an early check in too.
The positives: The house is a new construction completed within the last few years, in a quiet neighborhood, and matches the description and photos. Clean and well stocked with linens. A few minutes walk to a nice new park/playground which is great if traveling with kids. Close drive to Omaha (15 minutes) and airport (30 minutes).
The negatives: the house/furnishings need some attention. The floor/ceiling between the main level and basement is super thin so you can hear all foot traffic above you when staying in the basement bedrooms. The door to the utility room in the basement doesn’t latch closed, so beware if you have curious kids. All interior doors in the house squeak loudly, which woke us up whenever someone was leaving a bedroom to use a shared bathroom in the night. The metal bunk beds squeaked terribly as well whenever you slightly moved. It woke my daughter and niece up throughout the night whenever one or the other would move. Most mattresses in the house had dips in the middle. The refrigerator water filter needed replaced. Lastly, we couldn’t use the garage because we never received the app invite to get access despite the property manager sending it multiple times - something wrong with the app it uses.
