Escape to Among the Pines, a peaceful Adirondack retreat tucked away among the trees in beautiful Long Lake, New York.
Set back from the road in a quiet, private setting, our 2-bedroom, 2-bath home is the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy everything the Adirondacks have to offer. Whether you’re spending summer days on the lake, exploring nearby trails, taking in the fall foliage, or planning a cozy winter getaway, Among the Pines makes a comfortable home base year-round.
THE HOME
Among the Pines comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests and features two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living and dining spaces, and a screened-in porch that’s perfect for morning coffee, evening drinks, or relaxing after a day of exploring.
The primary bedroom features a queen bed, while the second bedroom offers two twin beds.
The home also includes:

* Washer and dryer

A GREAT LONG LAKE LOCATION
One of our favorite things about Among the Pines is the location. You’ll enjoy the peace and privacy of being surrounded by trees while still being close to the heart of Long Lake.
Long Lake Town Beach is approximately ½ mile away, making it easy to spend the day swimming, relaxing by the water, or enjoying everything the lake has to offer.
The surrounding Adirondacks offer incredible opportunities for hiking, paddling, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, sightseeing, and simply getting away from it all.
Looking to explore farther?
* Gore Mountain — approximately 45 minutes
* Lake Placid & Olympic attractions — approximately 1 hour
* Whiteface Mountain — approximately 1 hour
* Tupper Lake and surrounding Adirondack attractions — an easy day trip
After a day of exploring, come back to the quiet of Among the Pines and unwind.
A PEACEFUL ADIRONDACK GETAWAY
Among the Pines is a privately owned home, and we take great pride in keeping it clean, comfortable, and welcoming for our guests.
The property is intended for peaceful vacation stays. Parties, events, and unauthorized gatherings are not permitted.
Maximum occupancy is 4 people, including adults and children, unless the host has provided prior written approval. Only registered guests included on the reservation may stay overnight at the property.
NO PETS
Pets are not permitted at the property. Please do not bring pets or animals onto the property, except where required by applicable law.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the home.
We simply ask that guests treat the home, property, and surrounding neighborhood with the same care and respect they would their own.
EXTERIOR SECURITY CAMERAS
For the safety and security of our guests and property, three exterior security cameras are installed outside the home:
* Front porch camera — faces the front steps and driveway.
* Corner camera — located on the corner of the house and faces the driveway.
* Rear camera — located on the rear of the house and faces the garage area.
All three cameras are motion-activated and record both video and audio when activated. The cameras monitor exterior areas only and do not view or monitor the interior of the home.
Guests may not cover, disconnect, reposition, disable, obstruct, or otherwise tamper with the cameras or other safety, security, Wi-Fi, or smart-home equipment.
GOOD TO KNOW
This is a home in the heart of the Adirondacks. Part of the experience is being surrounded by nature. Depending on the season, guests may encounter wildlife, insects, snow, ice, mud, leaves, and rapidly changing weather and outdoor conditions.
Guests are responsible for supervising children and for using the home, property, outdoor areas, and provided amenities appropriately.

I cannot state how amazing the place is to stay at wish I lived there

Our stay was great. The light switches were a little confusing, but otherwise the house was very comfortable. We really liked the front porch in the back deck, the fishing was great. We caught a lot of good fish and the house was conveniently close to the boat ramp. I would love to stay at this house again, if you would have me!

This is by far one of the best rentals we have stayed in. Everything you might need is there. I had to cook for a family reunion and the house had every tool, measuring cup/spoon, pan, dish. It was stocked for every kind of use. It was really clean and ready for us. Definitely will come again. D & B Albany 8/3/25
