Maison Song Anh

This place is a jewel in the heart of D1. Mid-block on a relatively calm street, the rooms are above the cafe, accessed by elevator. Each floor has 2 rooms, one facing back. The other forward. There is also a nice garden porch shared space on 4th floor. The room was cool, quiet AC. Augmented by a ceiling fan. Plenty of space to stash luggage and clothes. And a small porch to dry clothes. A smart TV was there with Netflix. And a very good Bose Bluetooth speaker. The room decor was thoughtful with old school room maps on cotton canvas. So cool, I found a store that sells them and bought a couple. The room also had a first aid kit, for just in case. I really enjoyed my stay there, an easy walk to coffee shops, barbers, good eats, etc. I've probably stayed in 40+ boutique hotels and AirBnB in D1, D2, D3, D4, in past 4-5 years and I'm most likely to return here if a room is available.

Air conditioning was not able to cope but was not fixed

A perfect place to stay in District 1 in Ho Chi Minh. The room was lovely and the staff in the Cafe were great. Would highly recommend it.
