Lakewalk Cabin

The staff at the facility was friendly. It's conveniently located close to a night club and lake boat rides. There is a restaurant and bar within the premises. Lots of garden space to sit. Cabin had privacy

At some point we waited for very long to have food delivered to our cabin. The shower had issues, but was fixed swiftly.

great location, value for money, friendly helpful staff

a few issues with plumbing, (leak in the sink, WC wouldn fill up fully due to faulty valve, shower head needed a clean as some "holes" were blocked). Power- microwave wont work if fridge is also plugged in. This should have been stated.

Being so close to the hippos and boat ride dock. The gardens are beautiful. Staff were nice enough although seemed a little distracted (low season!?) facilities on site are good especially as there isn’t much nearby. It’s a great stop off if you’re traveling around the area and ticks all the necessary boxes although the accommodation itself is a little rustic. Waking up so close to hippos is priceless and it’s a great stop off to visit nearby places such as hells gate and Nakuru.

Mythical pool

It's near the Lake with lake views and it's a spacious room. There was no mosquitoes at night despite the fact that the place is close to the lake. Breakfast was served in the room. Staff a were nice and kind

The place is not value for money. I believe you can find a better deal with the same rate. More work needs to be done to make the surrounding area look better. I felt like everything is just allover the place making the space look so busy. There's is no much privacy since there's a club and restaurants just so close and there are people passing by and driving in at night. Luckily we were there on a weekday, I can't imagine how the weekends are with the club's and restaurants around.To add on that you can actually hear the conversations of guests in the next room. One of the glass wall had a huge crack making it look dangerous. The houses are same but one has a better view of the lake from your bed, apparently the one with better view is cheaper , so check on that before finalizing your booking. The place looks like it's still under construction, hence the not so tidy kind of look on the surrounding environment .
