Santa Marta by SpotOn Apartments

Apartament is very nice, in perfect location, close to main street, grosery shop and restaurants. Kitchen was well equiped and the host was very nice and helped when we needed.

Roupas de cama e banho mto boas… chuveiros com ótima pressão d’água…loc mto perto da linda av da liberdade. Um espaço compacto mas mto bem pensado, e com o necessário pra viajantes de passagem. Mto bom ter kit para maq lava roupas.

The location was great. Kitchen was well equipped for basic meals. The apartment was nice and clean and the linens were fresh.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress is old. There is a mattress topper but that cannot do its job as the mattress itself fully compresses and so it provides no support. There is only one window, but no mosquito net. On hot nights it becomes very uncomfortable and hot in the apartment (even with the area fan on). If you open the window to the outside then mosquitos come in, so either way it becomes a very uncomfortable night’s sleep. Sense of security is low. The front door of the building at the street level does not lock. There is tape covering the closure where it should latch. The stairway leading up to the apartment needs maintenance as some floorboards were loose.
