Review Title: Beautiful Cottage in Levi – A Blissful Stay with Some Hiccups We stayed in a beautiful cottage in Levi, and it was a truly magical experience. The cottage was cute, cozy, and comfortable, providing a perfect winter getaway for our family. Highlights of the Cottage: • A hot tub/jacuzzi in the backyard, which was an unforgettable experience, especially at -30°C amidst the snow. • A beautiful little forest behind the property with snow-covered trees, offering a serene and picturesque setting. • A well-set-up fireplace on the ground floor and first floor that added warmth and charm to our stay. • Two toilets and one bathroom, which were convenient for our family of five. • A relaxing sauna that was perfect after a chilly day outdoors. • A cozy loft with stunning views and a ground-floor bedroom that also had a beautiful outlook. • Seeing the Northern Lights (Auroras) from our balcony one night was truly a magical experience! • The hosts kindly arranged sleds for our children as requested, which was a thoughtful touch.

However, there were some challenges we faced: Cons: 1. Host Communication: There was no direct response from the host on Booking.com, and all our messages received automated replies. It was frustrating to get in touch, and we eventually had to contact the cleaners via an email provided in one of the messages. The host should either manage communication better or list the cleaners as the main contact on Booking.com. 2. Linen Charges: No bedding or towels were provided, and we had to pay €20 per person for them. This is inconvenient and unfair for travelers who typically don’t carry linens on a holiday. 3. Cold Mornings: Despite setting the thermostat to a higher temperature, the house still got very cold in the mornings, which was uncomfortable. 4. Balcony Door Issue: The balcony door had trouble closing, and a couple of times we were unable to close it properly, which contributed to the cold. This is something that should be fixed. 5. Transportation Challenges: The cottage is about a 15-minute walk from the nearest supermarket and the town. While manageable, it can be difficult in heavy snow with children. Cabs and Uber services were not readily available, and we often waited more than 20 minutes for a ride. Driving your own vehicle would make things much easier if you’re comfortable with snowy conditions.

Fantastic location and amazing facilities. Loved how close it was to the cross country ski tracks.

Would have preferred not to pay extra for bed linen and towels.
