About this house rental

Just a short distance from cycling, this pet-friendly vacation home lets you experience it all. Thanks to the convenient onsite parking, you can either leave your vehicle behind and let your feet make short work of the 9-minute walk to Steirarodl, or easily tackle the 25-minute drive to Golfclub Erzherzog Johann Maria Lankowitz.

After you return, unwind in the hot tub or sip a drink in the garden, and don't forget about the outdoor furniture. For a change of scenery, come inside and enjoy the WiFi and TV.

As you settle into this 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom rental, you'll find a living room, a BBQ grill, luggage storage, and air conditioning. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer, bathrobes, and towels. The host (who built the home) welcomed us in person at the cottage on arrival and showed us around and how to operate the sauna and hot tub. The home is a beautiful combination of old and new architecture. Everything is new and works perfectly. It’s walking distance to Modriach which is a beautiful little Austrian town with an alpine slide. There is a herd of sheep in the backyard. Wonderful for walking/running with miles of hills and beauty surrounding you. We came for the formula one weekend and commuted to the track. Coming from the south took only 54 min each day and there was no traffic and it was easy free parking. We found cute little towns to eat dinner in on our way back each day. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat this is your place!! There were 4 of us - 2 parents and two teenage kids but room for 2 more people as there was an extra bed in each of the two bedrooms. The host even had some treats in the fridge for us which was nice - wine, eggs, butter, milk and some other snacks. Highly recommend!!
