About this cabin rental
Prime lake location! This cozy Montana cabin is just minutes from Georgetown Lake in Anaconda, Montana and comes with beautiful views and a central location to fishing, ice fishing, skiing, hiking, hunting and more. This dog-friendly space offers free WiFi, a wood stove and a large covered deck with views. Perfect for small groups or couples, it sleeps 4-6 people. Located minutes from water access & a short drive to Discovery Ski area. Weekly discount rate = 25%-off!

Cabin Experience: Love a place with character? While recently updated with modern comforts, the cabin itself was built in the 60s. If you are looking for a fun Montana experience, this vacation rental offers a unique, rustic cabin vibe with plenty of amenities to be comfortable!
Main Floor: Open floor plan with living room, kitchen and bathroom (shower/no tub), wood burning stove & an electric/propane heater.
Second Floor: Two bedrooms (queen/full & queen/twin) and landing nook with futon seating. Washing machine and dryer.
Exterior: Large covered, partially-enclosed deck with mountain views and private yard (partially fenced). Owner camper is stored onsite that is not accessible to guests. Charcoal grill on deck. Small fire pit is located in the yard.
Number of Guests: This 950-square-foot cabin sleeps 6 people, however, some parties may feel more comfortable with less guests. Reach out before booking if you have questions! If you would like to bring more than six guests, just ask us when booking.
Mountain and Lake Views
Take in views of both Georgetown Lake as well as mountains and Discovery Ski Area just across the lake. The cabin is located near the lake but does not have direct access to the lake from our personal property. There are multiple public access points within minutes.
Location, location, location!
Nearby Towns: Georgetown Lake is located 2 hours from Bozeman, Montana & 1.5 hours from Missoula, Montana and just under 1 hour from Butte, Montana.
Lake Access: Cabin is located minuted to the closest public access and boat launch.
Winter: World class ice fishing! Also features public access to snowmobile and hiking trails minutes from the house, nearby groomed cross country skiing and 15-20 minutes from Discovery Ski Area. Close drive to ice skating in Phillipsburg.
Summer: Big Sky and open spaces! Multiple public lake and boat access points within 5 minutes (closest is about one mile away), mountain biking (including chair lift access at Discovery Ski Area), public access to four wheeling and hiking right out the back door & covered deck with outside seating. Historic Phillipsburg, with famous candy store, Phillipsburg Brewing and great restaurants a short drive away!
Fall: A hunter and fisherman’s paradise! Public access within minutes from the house. Make this your hunting base camp.
Old Works Golf Course, a public award winning course in nearby Anaconda.
Family & Kids: We welcome families!! Parents with young children please note before booking: This cabin has a wood stove. Those with very small children and concerned with safety are encouraged to use the electric heater instead. We provide a baby gate you can use on the stairs and have a 50” wide, 3 panel fireplace screen. No crib or Graco on-site.
WiFi: Available! We have excellent WiFi (fiber optic) service through Blackfoot Communcations. While generally very reliable, please note: we are in a rural area where weather beyond our control could potentially impact service in rare occasions.
Pets: Two potty trained dogs are allowed. Ask us if you have more than two dogs.

Comfortable but not recommended for seniors. Stairs to sleeping area require a Sherpa. With bathroom downstairs, it became a small issue. Cool location!

Cute little red cabin on Georgetown Lake!! Cabin had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The wood stove was very appreciated since the weather was very cool for August. Highly recommend. Hope to stay here again in the future.

Excellent stay with nice views and location. The home was clean, comfy and true to the description. The amenities were great and the host was highly responsive. We would definitely stay again.
