VSG25 Apartment is an elegant apartment in a central location for those looking to stay in Cagliari. It is located in the Villanova neighborhood, just 200 meters from the Bastion of Saint Remy. Completely renovated in 2018, it can comfortably accommodate two people. White is the dominant color in this two-level home, and the minimalist design of the furnishings is a defining feature. The apartment consists of: a living room, a kitchen with a dining area, a half-bath, a staircase leading to the sleeping area, a bedroom, a walk-in closet, a storage closet, and a generously sized bathroom. The double bed (165 x 200 cm) can be separated upon request, depending on the guests’ needs. Check-in is available at any time, free of charge, as the front door is equipped with a Bluetooth-enabled entry system. After booking, we will email or text you the electronic key, which can be used with the app on your smartphone. The smart TV is equipped with “Google Chromecast,” which allows streaming from the guest’s device (smartphone, tablet, or PC) to the TV. In the living room, the “Google Home Mini” device can provide voice-guided information (in Italian, English, French, and German) about the city, such as restaurants, supermarkets, museums, buses, etc. The stereo system is equipped with a Bluetooth device for playing music from the guest’s cell phone.

The neighborhood is characterized by two-story homes, and the residents have transformed the streets into gardens. Every year, the “Il balcone fiorito” (The Flowered Balcony) contest is held to award the most beautiful arrangement. The apartment is located in the Villanova neighborhood, one of the city’s four historic districts. Just 50 meters from the apartment, in Piazza San Giacomo, you’ll find small restaurants, shops, a grocery store (one of the last remaining unchanged over the years in the city), and even a coin-operated laundromat. The house is 200 meters from the shopping area (Via Garibaldi and Via Manno). A 10-minute walk takes you to the picturesque San Benedetto Market, one of the most renowned in the Mediterranean, where the fresh fish section is well worth a visit.

The CTM bus stop for Line 7 is 140 meters from the apartment. This bus connects you to the central station at Piazza Matteotti, and from there you can go to Poetto, the beach frequented by Cagliari residents, or to Elmas Airport (a 15-minute train ride).
Via San Giovanni is a restricted-traffic zone, and if you arrive by car, you can park in the paid parking lot on Via Regina Elena, below the castle walls, a 5-minute walk from the apartment.
