2,600 square feet of living space. 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, plus 2 living areas. Comfortably sleeps 6 adults plus a bunkbed and pullout sofa. We are located just a short 60 mile drive from Dallas and from Tyler. Eighty miles from Waco.
The breathtaking waterside lake views make this home a perfect place to leave everything behind and take in the lake life. With two porches, a large backyard, and there are more than enough places for you to relax and enjoy the tranquility of living on a lake.
This spacious 2-story home boasts two full living areas and the kitchen is a home cook's dream. The home is large enough for two families but is intimate enough for just a single family or couple. One of the most amazing and unique features of this home is the huge pecan tree growing through the eaves on the second story. Hence, THE TREEHOUSE ON THE LAKE.
The home is located in a quiet protected cove on the lake.
If you are interested in spending time out of doors, there are two back porches on this house....one on the second floor and one on the first. On the first floor porch we have two dining areas where you can enjoy a meal or your morning coffee.
It's more than likely you will catch glimpses of blue herons, egrets, and other wading birds in addition to cardinals, blue jays, and hummingbirds. If you are lucky, you may even spy one of the resident bald eagles known to soar in the area.
The backyard is huge and equipped with a fire pit for those after dinner s'mores or to warm yourself on a cool evening. Plus, the stargazing is unreal.
The owners are Stacie and Craig, and this is the only property we manage so we are able to offer family friendly service while responding promptly to any inquiries you may have. We live in the DFW area and understand the need to get away and take a break in a safe, serene setting with family and friends. We consider this home a dream house and would love to share it with you.

Enjoyed a few days of rest and relaxation at the lake. Beds were comfortable and the house was very accommodating! Will definitely be back.

I came to this sweet house with four of my lifetime friends! When we had first planned our trip to Canton, we wanted a house that was close by the shopping. I ended up booking this house, not knowing that it was 40 minutes away. But it ended up being perfect for us! Not too far to keep us from going to Canton but far enough away that we felt like we had two vacations in one! Unfortunately, our weather wasn’t great, lots of rain! But we still had a wonderful time talking, laughing doing facials on the comfy couch and having our coffee and then cocktails on the deck! The house was spacious, clean and decorated charmingly! I definitely want to come back to access the lake when there is better weather! Try out The Fig for great food and live music!

We stayed at this property to celebrate my mom’s 90th birthday with our family, and overall, it was a nice experience. The view of the lake was beautiful and created a peaceful, scenic setting for our time together. Inside, the home was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our group.However, we did encounter a few issues that affected our stay. The patio and the driveway and walkway leading to it were covered with debris, which made it difficult for my mother to safely navigate with her walker. Additionally, the outdoor tables and chairs had quite a bit of dirt and spider webs, which we had to spend time cleaning before we could use.We also had a problem with the downstairs toilet—the handle broke which made it difficult to flush. The host, Stacey, was responsive and arranged for someone to come out, but the toilet could only be temporarily fixed due to unavailable parts. Unfortunately, it overflowed the morning we left and left us scrambling to get up the water before it flooded the bathroom.With some added attention to outdoor cleanliness and a permanent fix to the plumbing, this property would be more enjoyable. We still had a memorable time and appreciated the opportunity to celebrate such a special occasion in a beautiful location.
