About this cottage rental
Welcome to our Gîte ANTOINETTE located in a village ideally placed to visit the treasures of Alsace just 10 minutes drive from Colmar.
LE68320 offers two independent gîtes that can accommodate adults only.
In a house adjoining that of the owners.
2 people per gîte. Access to the 2 gîtes is via a spiral staircase located in the spacious entrance hall.
Each gite has a locked garage located in the courtyard of the property closed by an automatic gate so that you can park your vehicle as well as your bikes safely.
The cottage "ANTOINETTE" located on the 1st floor, bright with an area of 75m2, is equipped with underfloor heating and reversible air conditioning as well as double flow ventilation.
Free Wifi to stay connected.
The fully equipped kitchen is open to the living room.
The bedroom is separated by a sliding wall from the living room and includes a 160x200 bed - a dressing room as well as a safe. The bathroom with double sink unit and large walk-in shower is adjoining the bedroom. Separate toilet.
For your comfort, we provide you with free of-charge:
Bed linen (the bed is made on arrival). Towels- Bath towel for swimming pool- Hairdryer - Dish towels - Dishwashing products - Sponge - Dishwasher tablets - Toilet paper - Garbage bags - NESPRESSO capsules - Coffee filters - Tea - Salt and pepper - Iron and ironing board - Drying rack - Raclette and fondue set.
We do not ask for cleaning fees, it will be done by us when you leave but we want the dishes to be done and put away, the fridge emptied, the bins to be taken out and to respect the selective sorting, Thank you in advance for your collaboration.
The exteriors:
A wooden terrace of 300m2 surrounding the heated swimming pool of 9mx4m (depth 1.50 meters), freely accessible from the beginning of May to the end of September to share with the two other holidaymakers of the Gîte AMELIE.
A grassy area of 400m2 as well as a wooded area.
A "WEBER" gas barbecue, a fridge and various outdoor equipment and accessories will allow you to fully enjoy your summer days and evenings.
Also available for 4 adult mountain bikes + helmets
Walk in the forest 10 minutes walk.
100 meters away the cycle path along the canal with the possibility of going to Colmar or L' Allemagne.
A 50-metre bus stop to get you to Colmar.
800 meters away: Bakery/Pastry - Butcher/Delicatessen - Fruit and Vegetable - Organic greengrocer. Restaurant - Tobacconist/Press - Hairdresser - Beautician - Bank - Florist.
Fridays Farmer's market 15 minutes walk away.
10 minutes by car: Supermarket - Gas station - Doctors - Pharmacy - Nurses' office - Dentist - Physiotherapist - Osteopath - Post office.
15 minutes by car CARREFOUR with its large shopping center.

10 minutes from Colmar, City of Art, History and Heritage, with its Museums, its pedestrian zone of Old Colmar, the replica of the Statue of Liberty 12 meters high without forgetting the Christmas Markets which start from November 26 to December 24.
20 minutes from the emblematic villages such as Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé, Eguisheim, perfect for discovering the vineyards and half-timbered houses of the Wine Route.
The superb Château du Haut Koenigsbourg - Mont Saint-Odile.
The magnificent Notre Dame de Strasbourg Cathedral, a Gothic building with its astronomical clock.
Close to hiking trails for nature lovers, including the Petit Ballon d'Alsace culminating at 1272 meters above sea level, not to mention the Fermes Auberges to enjoy

Such a lovely Gite, modern, well furnished, well equipped and very comfortable. There’s a near-new Weber gas BBQ for guests’ use and a superb swimming pool. There is even a lockable garage, which I consider to be essential for our convertible sports car. Our hosts, Valerie and Patrick were friendly and helpful. Location is good for exploring Alsace area being a few minutes from the very attractive Colmar and Ribeauville. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and wish we could have stayed longer.

Can't praise Gite Antoinette and our hosts Valerie and Patrick enough. Best gite and best hosts we have met in over 30 years of visiting France. The reality was even better than the photos.
The welcome is comprehensive and detailed and extended to a friendly apero - which in our case was held with the occupants of the other apartment and was great fun.
Everything we could need (including pool towels) was provided and every offer made to help with our stay including where to visit and how to get there.
Could happily give this six stars!

We've just spent two weeks at this beautiful location in Alsace. We stayed in the apartment Antoinette, which is a great size for two people. The lounge area was great for relaxing, the kitchen was very well equipped to cook meals, the bed was extremely comfortable, we both slept incredibly well during our stay. The whole place was very clean and well cared for. The outside area was fantastic. The pool was heavenly, and we spent many days relaxing in the sun, reading and swimming. Valerie and Patrick are the most perfect hosts. They met us on arrival and showed us around the apartment. On the first Sunday we were there we had evening drinks and snacks with them, just wonderful company. During our stay if we had any questions, they were both easy to contact and replied very quickly. They gave us information on local activities, which was so helpful. We've rented lots of houses and they have to be the best hosts ever. We have already booked to go again in 2024. Alsace is very beautiful, so much to see and do. I highly recommend a drive to Lake Titisee in the Black Forest, we enjoyed a cruise on the lake and had a delicious lunch and even some tasty gateau.

Premièrement, l’accueil de Valérie et Patrick est chaleureuse et on a l’impression de « faire partie de la famille ».
Le logement est parfait, complet ,super beau et bien décoré et entretenu. Le confort absolu!
Nous recommandons fortement ce gite et invitons tous nos compatriotes du Québec à réserver ce bijou! Vous en serez ravis!
