- Other things to note

Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.

We had a good time at this cute little place, which has lovely retro beach house vibes.Since it was a cold, rainy weekend we appreciated the heater and wood burner and the many puzzles we found in the cupboard. The place was clean and well equipped and it's in walking distance to the beach, what else could you ask for? Definitely recommend!

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 dogs. Could not have asked for more. Very well stocked. Great appliances. Warm with heating in living room and wood fire (byo). Very close to dog friendly beach.

We have been coming to Sandy Point for over 20 years and this has been one of our most memorable stays. Wattle Haven is a gem, so comfortable, peaceful and every detail has been considered for a wonderful holiday. We were excited to have a visit one day from our 2 year old grand child - excited to have them experience the magic of Sandy Point, the accommodation at Wattle Haven is safe, warm and inviting for all ages.
