The house was beautifully equipped and thoughtfully decorated, with plenty of quirky design features and ambient lighting options. It was preheated for our arrival, which was a lovely touch, and we were welcomed with bread, milk, orange juice and other refreshments. The space felt luxurious, yet quaint and cosy at the same time. The host provided clear instructions, and there was more than enough firewood to enjoy the fireplace.
The house is well equipped with two gas fireplaces, a split system and a wood fireplace. It does take a little time to warm up in the mornings, but given it was around 7 degrees outside and the property is older with high ceilings, this is understandable and easy to forgive.

We loved the visual appeal of every aspect of decoration and furnishing. There was a thoughtful and tasteful mix of Balinese, traditional and funky aesthetics that paid respect to the design of the house and created a welcoming ambiance... And oh, that starry starry bathroom!
We were provided with quality breakfast basics, including a few extra treats to make us smile.
The front deck was perfect to sample local wine and produce while watching the sunset over the ridge.
We very much enjoyed every aspect of the experience and didn't like having to leave.

This delightful cottage was so beautiful with all the charm and added provisions in abundance. So impressed with the decor and finishing touches. Highly recommend. Will go again.
