Cosy warm great location, fab kitchen;, but uncomfortable and needs a dust

Location was amazing. The apartment looks lovely, really bright and fresh. Well equipped kitchen could cook anything. Kitchen overlooks very active bird feeders - lovely to see such big blue tits. Good DVD collection. Nice crockery. Amazing heaters - so cosy warm.

There were nooks/crannies in need of more cleaning. Only 3 pint glasses. Couch has little padding so it's uncomfortable. Duvet and pillows really flat/thin - duvet wasn't much of a problem as the heaters were so good; but we had to combine them with throw cushions to plump them out.

Nice flat

It was clean, comfortable, warm and cosy. Towels and bedding smelt fresh and clean. Games and dvds available. Views of the sea front and back! Perfect location!

No welcome pack of milk, tea/coffee. Also, no hand soap for the bathroom and only 1 toilet roll. Washing up liquid would have been useful too! Street parking is a lottery draw - even in September.

There were signs of damp and some mould around the shower. The shower head was not well fixed and the plug in the bath leaked. The bed was very uncomfortable and there was no welcome pack (not even a dishwasher tablet left) no milk packs, tea or coffee on arrival and no open local shop

Very old TV no access to freeview. Sofa is uncomfortable and cold as well as very worn No batteries for the DVD player. Half of the functions on the cookers not working. Freezing cold in the entrance. Not enough hot water for the bath. Noise from building works next door

Lovely property in a beautiful but busy village.

Well appointed, comfortable, very well equipped, within easy walking distance to everywhere in Bamburgh. Lovely place to stay for longer than the 2 nights we spent. Plenty of room for couple and grandchild.

Parking is an issue. We were able to park opposite the property on arrival but after going out in the car we had to find somewhere else on our return. Parking in Bamburgh is always a big issue. Bathroom is a decent size but bath with shower over is a problem mainly because the glass shower screen can’t be moved so getting in and out can be difficult. Shower head seems too heavy for the holder and dips down. Bath pop up plug doesn’t fit properly so water drains away while bathing. This, plus low water pressure to shower, have been mentioned in other reviews. I would get rid of the smallish bath and install a walk in shower. There’s plenty space to do this. If you can’t climb in and out of an awkward bath with an immovable shower screen, which restricts access, then it’s sponge and wash hand basin!

Extremely disappointed with the basic maintenance of the property considering the price.

A good sized property in a great location.

The property has damp issues in the lounge but more severely in the bathroom. Water was coming into the bathroom from above the window. It looked like a long term issue (roof / guttering) that has simply been ignored and patched over. It is below the standards expected of a holiday let.

Location, kitchen facilities, comfortable and cosy. Check in was easy. Management company contactable out of hours. Lovely big bath towels!

WiFi didn't work and was not fixed during our weekend stay. Luckily WiFi was available at the Castle Inn a short walk away as we needed it for downloading emails for work. Management company sent someone round but it wasn't fixed. Only 3 chairs in the kitchen. Pictures had 4. We had guests for dinner but used the bedroom stool.

Great location, could do with a good clean and better maintenance.

Location was good. Near to the castle and the beach.

But the view from the apartment, especially at the back is not what you want to see on vacation. The cleanliness was very very poor. Dirty pans, crockery and cutlery in the cupboards and drawers. Fan in the bathroom didn't work, paint peeling off. Carpet was filthy with dog hair.

Location great

Property was OK a little tired and the facilities were basic but did the job. Being sandwiched between a top floor and a bottom floor made it not as private as many properties,as you were always mindfull of almost shared accomodation.

Perfectly clean, great location for a short break.

All good and great for what we wanted.

Kitchen very cold as no heating. Also could do with a blind. We could hear downstairs word for word so felt we had to be very quiet. Slightly annoying.
