Friendly, helpful manager with comfortable room

Lucky is such a fun host. He even took me to a friends wedding for a bit! He likes to travel himself so he knows what a traveler wants. The rooms are fresh, quiet and clean and the showers hot. The location is in walking distance from the Taj and lots of shops and restaurants around as well.

We absolutely loved everything. Not only is Lucky the best host, the room was spotless clean, the bed was really comfortable, the wifi was excellent, there was hot water and a balcony for morning coffee. The location is also fairly quiet (for India), especially in the evening and is also only a 15-20 min walk to the Taj Mahal!! If you don’t book this place you are really missing out!!

I was stayed for 3 nights, the room consider clean for local standards, fan and aircon with low prices.

Although there were a lot of mosquitoes, the toilet has a bad smell, it is acceptable if close the bathroom door. I didn't intend to give a review (usually I only give reviews to the best and the worst). Due to we ll leave early the last morning, we paid in advance and asked for a receipt. The manager- Lucky agreed to send by message, but never provided it even when we check out. I was surprised after we left the guesthouse, we received a booking.com reminder showed that the guesthouse marked us didn't check in on the date at the property. The issue was rectified once I reached out to Booking.com. I sent a text message to Lucky to ask him to send a receipt again. But Lucky still agreed but didn't give till now (I have screenshots of all the conversations), I am very sad and disappointed with the guesthouse manager- Lucky. At the same time, I read the reviews and found that some are facing the same issue as me. I can't figure out what was happened overall . . . . My review score to the room 8, but 1 for the host- Lucky.
