Bright and Spacious Condo in Downtown Collingwood 97043

Great location and could easily walk to bars and coffee shops and restaurants 👍 Place was very clean and air conditioning worked well.

Luckily, the office was open when I arrived and the staff were very nice and helpful, especially since the code they gave me didn't work for the first door. The apartment is very nice; quite basic but well appointed. Beds were a good size and comfortable. This was a two bedroom and one was very bright as it had a larger window, but the second bedroom was very dark. The basic appliances were supplied, new and clean. Everything was very clean and the TV worked well. I liked that it had a large deck to go out on but it would have been nice to have a table & chairs and maybe even some loungers to relax on. The location was great; on the main street, but not in the heavily walked area, so not noisy. Parking is ok.

I had to go out and pick up a step stool so I could see myself in the bathroom mirror! However, there is no shelf in the shower to put your shampoo, body wash, etc. on. That would be nice. We found that the sofa was cheap and not very comfortable. Perhaps a comfortable chair in the sitting area would be nice and a rug! It felt cold and somewhat sterile. We kept wondering what it was and we realized it needed a rug in the sitting area. Plus, there are blinds on the windows in the kitchen and sitting area but are hard to reach (I'm 5'2" so not that short!) but then there was a window on the door to the deck that had no blind. That made us feel uncomfortable at night as other guests could see ion to your main area. There were cupboards that the shelves had not even been put up and the kitchen supplies (dishes, serving ware, cookware, cutlery and utensils were minimal. I would say that they don't really want people making full meals. The facility needs a walkway from the front of the building which is on the main street around to the back where you enter the building for your apartment! If you're out walking the main street and come back, it is not easy to get around to the back of the building. If the staff are there you can go through their office but they only work during the weekdays.
