Marsh Marigold Cottage, Ashlin Farm Barns

I loved the lay out of the property, the location was fantastic right next to the lake, the hot tub was fantastic, the enclosed garden was brilliant for our dog also, the bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms all fantastic, modern, stylish, would defo be staying again

Lots of fly’s and ants running around, we had to buy fly spray to get rid of most of the fly’s

It’s beautiful, so well appointed and so carefully maintained. The hot tub was a hit but the interior of the house was similarly really great.

Very little not to like except maybe the pillows which were a bit heavy.

The property was stunning inside & out loved being nxt to duck pond garden beautiful fabulous hot tub decor inside & layout of room /kitchen diner perfect personal touches d.gowns /slippers. plenty of pots pans t.towels etc

Only thing missed was hanging space but we managed

The outside space for my two dogs and the lovely friendly ducks and geese that always came to say hello. It was so quiet and peaceful and the hot tub very relaxing. We had every utensil we needed if wanted to cook and you thought of everything. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the robes and slippers were a great help after getting out the hot tub.

I understand that the maintenance staff need access to the hot tub and the gardening staff however was a bit surprised to see someone in the garden when returning from being out and discovered that they had taken my dogs ball so we had to track them down and get it back. I think there should be a bolt on the gates or should have least knocked. On one occasion a child from another lodge just walked into the garden as her ball had come over, again would have been more than happy to give it back, just concerning like I said with the gate not being bolted as she could have let my dogs out. Even though both my dogs are super friendly and wouldn't hurt anything or anyone, that's a risk that she took.
