This was one of the most amazing group stays I’ve ever had. Jose was the most gracious host, checking in ahead of the trip and really going ahead and beyond to make our stay fabulous. The views and sunrises are stunning, there’s a range of activities to do including tennis and hiking, there are two pools. Two! My friends and I loved it and can’t wait to go back!

Where to begin with Villa Montgrau…I think we’ll start with 10/10 , A*, 100%!! As a group of 30 friends, it’s difficult to find an affordable villa that fits us all comfortably, and has a range of activities on offer both on and off site. Villa Mongrau has all of this and more. The kitchen and outdoor stoves made it easy for us to cook for 30, the two pools were super clean and spacious, and the grounds are fantastic for a huge game of hide and seek! The tennis court and games room below Casa 2 were brilliant and even the gym got some use! The beaches and beach bars are approximately 20 minutes away by taxi, and are a fun day out but there’s so much on offer at the villa, you won’t want to leave. Pepe and his family were so incredibly helpful, suggesting supermarket delivery options, taxi and minibus hire, walks in the stunning local area and even cooked us a gorgeous paella on the Saturday night. The cherry on top of the cake was the chilled beer tap and outside cooler which meant we were always supplied with a cold pint/drink whilst lazing by the pool. They went above and beyond, whilst not being intrusive and we can’t thank them enough for making our stay such a lovely and fun experience. The villa has already been recommended to several friends/family and I suspect we will be back at some point! Huge thank you to Pepe! From Jo, Meg, Nathan and the rest xx

We had a wonderful time at Villa Montgrau. The contact with Pepe was excellent and with everything we could ask for help. The first day we enjoyed a delicious Paella made by Carlos & also the last evening we had an amazing barbecue. The house is beautiful and fully equipped. We were a large group of 30 and if we wanted to go to the beach or into town we were excellently helped with taxis/buses arranged by Pepe. Thank you for the fantastic time!

We had a delicious time at Mont Grau. We felt at home immediately. Enormous pool. Very comfortable kitchen. Carlos and Pepe were very helpful. Small problem with the air was resolved instantly. Directions to good restaurant and taxi very quickly. You can ask them anything. Very little negative to tell, mostly positive. Just a little renovation of some of the (bath)rooms is maybe advised. And some of the beds were a little too hard for us, but there were plenty of bedrooms to choose from. Keep up the good work & Mont Grau!

We have been guests of Pepe and Carlos with a group of 26 young adults and it has been a perfect stay. Pepe and Carlos are really friendly and helpful hosts and good cooks as well. The paella and fideua Pepe cooked for us were some of the highlights of our vacation. The house is perfect for large groups as we have been to relax and party. There is lots of space to do sports and later in the evening, the bar belonging to the establishment is a great little club. All in all, we really recommend the house and the owners as it has been a perfect stay.

We had an amazing holiday as a group of 10 children and 18 adults in this wonderful villa. The space was huge, from the villas to the outdoor area. The pools were lovely and cleaned daily. The gardens and patio area gave plenty of room for activities, eating and resting. The villas were both stunning with many different room types. The bunk room was excellent and suited us due to the large number of children. There was lots of added extras and the hosts were great, so helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend this property.

Easily one of the best homes on either HomeAway or Airbnb we have stayed so far. Perfect for a big group of family or friends. Location and 360 degree view are even better than the images we see on the website. The host family is very friendly and prompt, and highly customer service oriented. Can’t ask for more. A very private well kept property with acres of orange groves, gardens, a separate castle like bar building and outdoor activities. Our group of 18 enjoyed the property facilities so much that we found it hard to get out of the house to go sightseeing!! Highly recommend this house. Would love to go back.

We stayed at Montgrau villa for one month. We had a wonderful experience. The location is breathtakingly beautiful and private. There is so much space but it was just two people and our little dog and we had the best time. We wanted to rest and be surrounded by beauty so this was perfect. The host is Carlos Grau. He was amazing. He was there if there was the slightest issue and he really cares about your experience and this house. He is a true host, not just someone who runs a property. He and his family were lovely. He brought us to a local winery and he and his family took us out for flamenco and a delicious paella dinner. Carlos' mother (a lovely, exciting and fabulous woman!) came over one Sunday with a fully prepared meal of arroz al horno, a traditional Valencian dish. On the property is another family member, Pepe, who tends to the many orange and mandarin groves. It's nice to have someone nearby but he is quiet, respecting your need for privacy. He was fantastic as well, and he joined us for tapas a few times. We would definitely go back if and when our travels bring us back to Spain.

We are a group of 14 people (6 adults , 8 teens and pre - teens) who spent 15 magical days mid - July at Montgrau . A spacious private isolated villa in beautiful green surroundings, but close to all amenities! The house is a little aging , but is particularly well equipped and perfectly adapted for sweet holiday period. The large pool is exceptional for a private villa. What about the owners ? People very endearing and attached to their property. Their priority: to make your holiday a special moment. For sure we will return.

Our trip was perfect! The pictures are a good representation of everything you get. When you arive you cannot believe that the whole mountain is yours. And you're also the only one who stays at this acconmodation, you do not have tot share anything. You'll have very much privacy because there are no other people in your valley. It was nice and clean and the two swimming pools with the sea and mountain views were marvelous. Also the squash and tennis fields were good in the evening for some exercise.Afterwards you have big nice rooms with airconditioning to rest after a nice sunny day. The hosts of Mongrau are even more nice. They wanted to help us with everything and are such a nice people. Also it was possible to Hike in your own backgarden in the mountains. Conclusion is that you'll get much more than you're paying for and i'll think you're making a good discision to go here !
