This cozy Carolina coast home is conveniently located minutes from the sandy beach of Indian Beach, perfect for a quiet ocean getaway for you and your loved ones. Spend your days on the waves by surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing, and enjoying every other waterfront activity imaginable. There's no shortage of things to do and sights to see in this corner of the coast, from the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores less than five miles away, to the Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier for additional enjoyment.
Towering oak trees frame this charming property where you'll spend leisurely afternoons relaxing on either the front or rear porches. Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a warm feeling of welcome throughout the space. Make yourself at home by streaming your favorite movies on the TV, cooking culinary charms in the kitchen, or eating home-cooked meals at the formal dining table. If you need to stay connected, a dedicated workspace with a desk and chair is available for remote work. For additional convenience, there is central air-conditioning, along with a washer and dryer to take care of the clothes before you return home.

This was a clean cozy place to stay, but the beds weren't as comfortable as we've found in hotels or other vacation places. We never found the close by walk to a beach. But overall, it was clean, a good location, decent kitchen and living room. The instructions for the keyless entry location don’t match the actual location of the code lock (key was inside the house, code given in instructions was for lockbox on doorknob - not keybox on post).

We love the fenced in yard great for small children and pets. It's quiet and conveniently located to both ends of the island. The large back porch with rocking chairs and big shade trees is very lovely. We will be staying again.

We love everything about Fanci’s Hideout, we love the private access to the beach, which some evenings we were the only ones there and it was amazing. The house is always immaculate and has everything we could ever need. We look forward to staying at Fanci’s Hideout every year, Fanci’s makes our vacation so relaxing and easy.

The place was very convenient to a great part of the beach- quiet and uncrowded even on holiday weekend. The house itself was a bit misrepresented- very small , it was clean when we arrived. Entry was easy and great for loading and unloading the cars. Has a good yard for dog and a clean out shower and area for rinsing off. We had 4 adults, one dog and two children and the house was a bit cramped. We made it work and most everyone was at the beach most of the time. For someone with mobility issues the entrance on the back was very doable. No dishwashers was a bummer but really no room in kitchen for one anyway. Love the area- very quaint and friendly. Added bonus- the seafood steaming place across the street was great.
