Les Amandiers - Quiet character farmhouse with swimming pool in wooded grounds

Beautiful property and lovely stay.

Quiet spacious apartment at a farmhouse. Everything well organised and clean. Als the area around the farm was very well taken care of. Particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, which the owners cleaned at night when they heard I would like to swim every morning. Apartment had two bathrooms and bedrooms, which was very convenient. Friendly and helpful owners. Wifi sufficient.

We loved staying here. It was so peaceful and quiet and not far from beautiful towns and places to visit. The roads were quiet so allowed us to cycle. The walks in the area were also very good. The property had everything that was needed in the kitchen. However the bed was uncomfortable and we found the beds in the twin room were better and more comfortable. The garden was lovely with the area to sit under the pergola and the pool area was also wonderful, however we could not use the pool as unfortunately was not heated and although the weather was warm it was not warm enough to venture into the pool not being heated. Also we found it quite difficult to talk with the owners as very little English was spoken, however we managed to get by with the French that we know to make conversation. Otherwise a really lovely week was spent here. The property was so spacious we loved it.
