Wonderful hostess, who made us feel truly welcome and who took care of all our needs, making our stay a great experience. She had made a book with all necessary information about the neighborhood and transportation. Manhattan is within easy reach of this quiet and friendly neighborhood.

Charlaine`s place is nice and cosy. She made us feel welcome and she was very helpful. Getting to and from Manhattan was easy with the light rail and the path.. The neighbourhood is nice and close to Liberty state park. We would like to stay here again. Synne

Charlaine’s characterful and cosy appartment sits in an accessible and fun local neighbourhood, within easy distance of Jersey City and Manhattan. There’s plenty of space and excellent facilities - certainly everything I needed and more - and I thoroughly enjoyed my very active 5-day stay. Charlaine is charming, personable, responsive and extremely helpful, providing many tips and encouragement to make my stay even more special. I found the walk to the excellent light rail line straightforward, and getting into Manhattan either by the Path, or the regular ferry, an absolute breeze. That meant I was able to easily take in a show on Broadway, walk the shoreline with its imperious views of Manhattan, Liberty 🗽, and beyond, complete the Jersey half marathon, and explore the various restaurants and cafes in this authentic neighbourhood. Everyone was kind. I’d have no hesitation in staying again. And I hope I will.
