For peace of mind and to ensure that Casa do Vale is suitable for the needs of all our guests we strongly advise that you first enquire via the 'CONTACT HOST' method on the VRBO platform ('SEND A MESSAGE' on mobiles). We are sure you have many questions and this also prevents disappointment should your dates be unavailable due to alternate bookings or if the villa is not suitable for your requirements. We are penalised in the VRBO listings if we decline 'Request to Book/Book now' enquiries which is something we would rather avoid at the outset. Discounts may be available where applicable. On your initial enquiry we shall detail the exact breakdown of all charges incorporated in the pricing and any supplement options that may be available. To be fair to all we operate on first-come first-served basis across all our advertising portals but at your request we may be able to provisionally reserve the villa for 24 hours whilst you decide if the villa suits your criteria. If you decide to proceed with VRBO they will issue a pre-approval to allow you to make a payment to them.
To reassure all potential renters we advise you exercise all due care and diligence by searching the internet to satisfy yourself that we are bona-fide hosts that have a proven track record of renting our 2 villas over the past 20 years. We offer first-class accommodation with a full range of facilities in a very spacious environment for all guests to enjoy. To deal with any uncertainty that many prospects may feel about booking due to Covid we are offering free cancellations up to 56 days prior to arrival *(conditions apply).

We frequently monitor the tariffs published on paid advertising sites such as VRBO. At the present time all 7 and 14 night prices for the current season should be correct. However, due to the complex algorithms used to determine the VRBO variable 'service fee', 4 night quotes may be incorrect (they should display 80% of the weekly rate but may not). Please make an enquiry (Contact host/Send a message) before making a reservation request (Request to Book/Book now) to establish the correct tariff for 4 nights and any seasonal discounts or promotions/offers available.

Our villas are spacious and fully self-contained with plenty of facilities to entertain our guests in their own environment should they not wish to venture too far. We also have access to in-house caterers, food/take-away deliveries and even supermarket deliveries.

We are aware that there are many more properties being offered for rental, making it even more important to make the right choice. We have been renting in the Algarve since 2003 and have listened to guests' feedback. We have our own dedicated management team to look after your every need during your stay with us. Our 'Villas with a Difference' policy ensures we can provide a lot more than just a villa rental! Once your booking is confirmed you will also have access to the private 'Members Area' on our own website where there is a wealth of additional information about our villas, the locale and the Algarve. The transfer time from Faro airport is just 20 mins (16km west). The location and flexibility of accommodation cater for all holiday criteria from 'get away from it all' to family holidays to sporting activities and cultural/historic sightseeing holidays. There is something for everyone both young and old. Its central location ensures quick and easy access to all the region's multitude of activities. Single gender groups are only accepted with a reference of a recent similar successful rental comprising the bulk of those intending to reside and subject to the owners' consent. We do not accept stag or hen parties.
Casa do Vale has its own private cinema with Bar with digital full HD projector, 110" screen, Google Chromecast Ultra for playing your own personal media from most devices and KEF surround sound. This is the ultimate in home entertainment. The Games Room is equipped with American Pool, table tennis, table football, darts, Playstation PS3 and PS4, and X-Box Kinect on two 40" LCD TVs. Air-con is inclusive from late May to late August. The gym is equipped with Life Fitness equipment, free weights, punchbag and speedball and a HI-Fi stereo unit. In the unlikely event that you require heating/air-con from September to end of May it can be activated at a supplement. Free unlimited Wi-Fi. Full fencing with electric gates, security CCTV, video entryphone and monitored alarm system make the property extremely safe and secure for all. A welcome pack with essentials for your arrival is provided with our compliments for rental of 7 nights+. Maid service is provided 2 times per week with weekly bed linen and mid-week towel change.
Outside:
The villa has large outdoor shaded terraces for al-fresco dining and provides ideal respite from the sun or may be just the place to enjoy a late evening cocktail at the outdoor bar and savour the quiet ambience of the Algarve. The fantastic charcoal barbecue will only enhance your holiday experience. The villa boasts a large private pool with night lighting and separate children's pool that are both exposed to full sunlight all day and is set in 3/4 acre landscaped gardens with large lawns. Deluxe sun loungers, parasols, and 'Rattan' leisure outdoor furniture provide the perfect environment to just chill and let the world go by.

The listing boasts a sauna, air conditioning, wifi, screening room as features. However, the sauna was not available to us. The air conditioning was an up-charge of an extra 350 euros in cash upon checkin (not mentioned in Vrbo listing). The wifi was only available in the front living room and dining room. The screening room controls and instructions were extremely difficult to navigate and more than a few people gave up on trying to get it going.The villa was clean and the location worked for us, convenient to supermarkets, restaurants, beach, golf courses and Faro airport.The owner(s) required 3,000GBP to be wired to their London bank account several weeks in advance as a security deposit. But returning the security deposit was not an easy affair, it took several weeks and numerous hours of tracking the wire with our bank. Which revealed that the owner did not complete the return wiring process per instructions of the recipient bank causing the funds to be returned to the owners account. The communications about this with the owner showed disinterest, curtness and not a particularly concerned helpful attitude. Good luck with that part of it.Vrbo needs to step up and figure out a better way to have security deposits be submitted and returned.
