About this cottage rental
Welcome to The Hive! This is the second unit on our hobby farm and a nature lovers paradise :) Gorgeous views and abundant wildlife both day and night. After parking near the main home you will take a very short (under 300ft) walk down the hill to the 24ft yurt. On the walk down stop and say hello to the farm animals. Inside the yurt you will have all the amenities to keep you entertained and cozy. Venture out to hike, kayak, shop, etc or just stay in with a good book ❤️
*The yurt is entirely yours to enjoy. Equipped with a queen size bed as well as a queen size futon you'll have plenty of sleeping room to sprawl out or snuggle up. If extra space is needed we can provide a queen size air mattress as well. The rainfall shower with on demand hot water along with natural lighting feel incredibly luxurious! Sit on the deck and take it the surroundings possibly catching a glimpse of the deer residents or dozens of wild turkeys. Go out and explore on a sunny day or cozy up with a good book on a rainy afternoon. Ductless mini split heating/cooling system will keep you comfortable year round.
*Guests are welcome to wander the property and say hi to the animals. If you would like to feed them let us know we are happy to provide feed. You can also give them safe snacks :) if you aren't sure what they can have just ask.

This was just what we needed for our stay in Sweetwater. We have been intrigued by the idea of staying in a yurt and these 4 days were just right for us. There is a possibility to have a fire within a nice pit on the property as well. Great views of the country side and the animals on the farm were always glad to see us. We adventured everyday and even though it rained quite a bit the yurt was a great place to recharge and have some solace before the next days adventures. All of our needs were readily available and our host checked in on us occasionally to be sure we were comfortable. Thanks for a great stay and we hope to return.

Everything about this reservation was amazing. We went out on a whim and decided to try something different and boy. We were so glad that we did. The host was amazing and very responsive through any questions that we had and we even got to see what it was like to be inside of a yurt during a thunderstorm lol. It was very relaxing and we had two little ones with us. They love the animals and the atmosphere was just all around amazing the only thing I would mention is make sure you have a hotspot with you or be prepared to feel completely off grid, which is not a bad thing. You lose reception once you go down the road to the house at least with Verizon. 10 out of 10 will be staying here again if we visit the area.
