About this cabin rental
The cabins are "self-serve backcountry hut style", which means you let yourselves in & there's signs explaining everything. Guests need to bring their own sleeping bags & pillowcases & pack out their garbage & recycling, also clean the cabin & restock firewood from woodshed before leaving.
There is no cell service (15 minute drive to cell service), no internet, no electricity or running water. There is a year round outdoor water tap to fill up buckets & jugs of water & a small sink/drain in the cabin. There is a small solar panel/charger for lights & phone charing. There is an outhouse that is shared with the nearby caretaker cabin. There is a tiny solar system to power solar lights & charge cell phones only.
There is a sauna/shower building that is located near Hazel Hut & only available when that cabin is not booked. There is an extra fee of $20/night to use the sauna in winter.
There is a short driveway to this cabin, but in the middle of winter it maybe necessary to park at the bottom and bring your stuff up/down the driveway (1 minute walk) in the tobaggan provided.
