A beautiful three-bedroom home situated in a quiet residential area, just a short trip away from the thriving seaside town of Burnham-On-Sea. An ideal retreat for a super family seaside holiday to explore the local beaches, seafront prom and local gardens and parks the town has to offer.

Southern Lea can host five guests over three bedrooms, as you enter there is a spacious hallway leading into the main living area, with comfortable seating, large flatscreen TV and dining table to retreat at the end of a sightseeing day. The kitchen area is stylish and well equipped with full oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the kitchenware you will need for your favourite holiday cuisine. Why not enjoy a relaxed morning coffee at the newly installed breakfast bar or dine al fresco enjoying the outdoor space and garden! Guests will have access to the summer house throughout your stay.

The bedrooms are beautifully styled, the spacious master with king size bed and dressing table, the second bedroom with two full size single beds, and a third with single bed and wardrobe. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, a basin and WC.

With ample parking, this is the perfect base from which to enjoy Burnham-On-Sea and the surrounding area. With seven miles of golden sands, this is one of the best regions of Britain for taking beach holidays! Locally there is lots to see and do – experience Wells Cathedral, Cheddar Caves & Gorge or Weston-Super-Mare for its grand pier, pleasure beach and Sealife Centre.

the home was very comfortable and clean As a smoker and having to stand in the street was a little embarrassing as it looked and felt odd. How you can have a barbi but not smoke in the garden is very odd and is the only reason I would not return.

Fab place to stay, so clean and the beds were so cosy. Beautiful place to stay - loved the BBQ and little lights on the summer house very cosy. A chair in the bathroom would be helpful so you can sit and put your makeup on instead of standing up but I really loved our stay, it felt so at home.

The accommodation was a home from home in a quiet location with everything we needed for our weeks stay. The only minor point was that when having a shower water would flood the floor from between the screen and frame and we had to stem it with a towel.

The house is located in a very quiet area of Burnham on Sea, no traffic in front of the house and therefore very quiet nights. The house has all the necessary facilities.

Super comfortable beds with lovely bedding, great location in a nice part of town. Very clean with nice decor. Very well equipped. Beautiful cottage style garden with outdoor seating, parasol etc perfect for a morning coffee in good weather. The seating in the lounge needs a rethink. The sofa is comfortable for two adults and maybe a child. The armchairs are not comfortable to sit for an evening. A coffee machine would also be a great addition.

We were well looked after here. The house was perfect in every way. Beds comfortable, big drive, more than enough plates, glasses, cutlery and pans. The house was spotless throughout and the garden well maintained. Thank you to Finest Retreats for all their assistance. We were very happy with our stay here.

The property has a lot of good features but is let down by the details. It is spacious and well equipped with everything you need and in a great location. The garden is lovely and the beds are very comfortable with luxurious bedding. Unfortunately the living room sofa and chairs are uncomfortable and one of the dining chairs is very worn and ripped on the seat. Cleaning seemed rushed as dust and crumbs still on floors and the bin in the kitchen was filthy and smelly, with what appeared to be congealed fat covering the inside, so we had to clean it ourselves. The main issue is the heating. It was not on when we arrived and the house was very cold. Guests have no access to the heating controls as they are in a locked container on the wall. We spoke to the letting agent who explained it is only set to come on between 6-9am and 4-9pm to 20 degrees which in the cold weather meant the house was cold most of the day. We have never stayed anywhere where we have not had the option of having heating as required. This was further compounded by the fact that the timer had reset to factory settings and would not come on. All things considered we would not stay there again.

We booked this property so that we could broaden our options so that our holiday didnt become weather dependent. This property provided a great base to explore the local area and all the attractions. We visited cheddar gorge, Wookey hole, wells weston supermare etc. We would recommend this property really spacious, clean and modern. The onfo provided by the owner also meant that we tried some of the local restaurants which were all very good.

The bungalow is ideal. There is a camera that we were not told about not sure what that is watching but as we were not doing anything wrong we didn’t mind it. The following are constructive comments. Could do with a pizza cutter, the tin opener wasn’t working. There could be a hook on the back door of the bathroom door . A sun shade on the table would be good also a chest of draws in the front bedroom as we had child’s clothes, we used the grey basket. Also I have sleep apnoea and the one table in the front bedroom held the machine but not the light and machine a small bedside table in the small room would have been good, my mom said. Just saying. loved the sun house and the pictures on the wall. Hope u like the comments from Georgina aged four in the visitors book! As I said comments to advise. My mom has packed the small plastic cup In our belongings by mistake! I will post it back to you ! Sorry she must have thought it was mine.

Good sized rooms, comfortable beds and all the facilities needed for self-catering. Attractive small garden which is not overlooked and catches the sun for most of the day. Quiet and peaceful with very little road noise.

Beautiful bungalow, spotlessly clean, lovely touch leaving jam, milk and cookies It should say how far it is to the bus stop, especially for people with mobility problems, and also it’s impossible to get a taxi, I tried for 2 days and they either didn’t answer or were fully booked
