The Marienwinkel

our second stay here in this lovely peaceful village. Well furnished cosy accommodation, comfortable beds, friendly and welcoming hosts, all set in a lovely rural area. Close enough to the motorway to get around and with facilities not too far away in Ostheim. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again!

We stayed for eight nights in Marienwinkel, one of a pair of cottages overlooking the local schloss. The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard with tiled downstairs and wood floor upstairs and in the ground floor bedroom. Furnishings are good quality with comfortable beds and seating. We were very comfortable throughout our stay. We enjoyed the outdoor terrace for breakfasts and in the evenings though we did not use the supplied BBQ. Ground floor is accessible throughout for wheelchair users with access from the rear of the house. The downstairs shower room is wheel in and again accessible, Located in a very quiet small hamlet with good restaurants, bars, supermarkets and breweries within a ten minute drive. The local area is very unspoilt and although off the beaten track is easily reached. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and live on site so can easily be contacted. A wonderful property in a lovely area - highly recommended.
