About this apartment rental
This 68 m² apartment is located on the ground floor on the courtyard side of a 19th century building in downtown Bordeaux in the Jardin Public district, 100 m on foot from the ruins of the Palais Gallien and 800 m on foot from the Grand Theater. Rue Fondaudège is a very commercial street in which all supplies are easy and the apartment is 200 m from the nearest Fondaudège-Muséum tram station.
It has an entrance with cloakroom, a fully equipped open kitchen lit by a skylight opening onto a dining area, a comfortable living room opening onto a small private garden of 30 m2, enclosed and shaded with garden furniture, a bathroom with large shower , a separate toilet, a bedroom lit by a skylight equipped with a large dressing room and two 0.80 m beds that can be joined together for a 1.60 m bed, a second bedroom overlooking the garden with a 1 bed .60 m and an office space with computer sockets.
It is very quiet and benefits from very good sound and thermal insulation.
This apartment has been available since August 6, 2022. We have completely renovated and decorated it ourselves and we continue to add little extras to make it even more warm and personalized. We also develop the garden by planting new varieties of plants and shrubs.
It is our Bordeaux pied-à-terre when it is not rented.
We are often available and delighted to meet our guests.
Some regional products will be waiting for them in the apartment for stays of a week or more.

I was very pleased with all aspects of my stay. The location was excellent with a light rail very close, a wide variety of stores including two Carrefours within half a mile, a boulanger open from 6am to 6 pm and even a small epicier next door. The apartment was very quiet and with a ground floor entrance location, easy to access. The wide range of kitchen equipment was noted and the bathroom pleasant to use.Travelers should be aware that the "smart" Tv needed own passwords and access details to fully work stations like Netflix. For a traveler, the disposal of garbage could have been more clearly explained to ensure compliance with admittedly what seemed to be complicated French rules and regulations. Handover was very smooth with Catherine being a responsive and helpful host. Parking (paid) could be had roadside on adjoining side streets where and when available but there seemed to be adequate spaces to go round.

Great apartment in Bordeaux. Near to everything. Clean, well organized with everything needed for a great stay in Bordeaux. Catherine was easy to work with. We would stay again.

My Wife, Mother-in law, Son and myself stayed here Wednesday-Saturday. Fabulous location and accommodating hosts. lovely little ground floor apartment with everything you could need for a stay. Would recommend!

Cosy, well equipped ground floor apartment in a central location. Easy access to sights and transport. Plentiful shops, bars and cafes nearby plus excellent restaurants. Charming hosts.
