This cottage with unique architecture and decor is located in the Domaine le Vertendre. Here you will be delighted by the surrounding nature of the estate, its lake and trails for walking, cycling, or snowshoeing and skiing in the winter.
The Space:
The Bois Debout is fully equipped to ensure you have a most memorable and comfortable stay. Composed of a large open space with a huge island to cook or have an aperitif, a friendly dining room and a pleasant living room to relax by the fire, the property also has 3 large bedrooms (one with two double beds), a full and luxurious bathroom, as well as a bathroom with washer-dryer. Finally, note the beautiful veranda to enjoy the summer!

Nestled in the heart of Domaine le Vertendre, this chalet offers a peaceful nature escape with access to a lake and private trails right at your doorstep—perfect for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
Just 10 minutes from the charming village of Eastman, enjoy local cafés, restaurants, and boutiques. You’ll also be close to beaches, renowned spas like Balnea and Nordic Station, golf courses, and top ski resorts including Mont Orford, Bromont, Sutton, Owl’s Head, and Jay Peak.
Getting Around:
A car is recommended to access the property and nearby attractions. The chalet is located on a private domain with free parking on-site.
In winter, a vehicle with winter tires or AWD is advised. Most services and activities are within a 10 to 30-minute drive.
Please note that lake access is via a short walk through a wooded trail.
Other Things to Note:
The cottage is not lakefront, there is a short walk through a beautiful trail to get to it !
Dogs are allowed (maximum 2 per stay, additional fees apply).

Beautiful, modern chalet which is extremely well equipped with everything needed for gourmet food preparation. Lots of room for 2 couples and a single family member. It’s a little isolated and not easy to find, but GPS helped a lot. It was a wonderful stay. Needs a tea pot and a plastic dish rack tray!
