Apartamento Robi en Cumana II - Puerto Rico - Ap 508

We have just returned from a week staying at this gorgeous apartment. We were met by the owners Gianluca & his wife who were the perfect hosts. Very friendly & welcoming. The apartment has everything you need for a self catering holiday it is very modern & spotlessly clean. The whole apartment smelled gorgeous. The bed was very comfy & the air-conditioning was amazing. The bathroom was a good size, again very clean & modern with a great shower. Decent size balcony with views over Puerto Rico. Highly recommend. We will definitely return.

We were welcomed by a friendly couple who kindly allowed us to check in early which was a bonus! Great location - only a 5 minute walk down 2 sets of steps to the main centre, another 5 mins to Mogan mall and another 10 min walk in the opposite direction to the beach. We found the steps too steep to walk back up them but taxis are only €4 so we didn’t mind. Apartment / bungalow is exactly as shown in pictures. Sun loungers would be a great addition to the generously sized balcony but the table & chairs were fine. Coffee machine was good but we just used the kettle out of personal preference, more tea / coffee supplies would’ve been nice but we bought more - we also had to buy more toiletries as not enough were provided, only some shower gel sachets. Plenty of towels provided though as well as extra blankets which were very cozy at night. The shared pool is a good size and barely had any other guests in it, we had it to ourselves for 90% of the week and we got 2 sun beds with an umbrella every time we went down to it. The aircon in living room and bedroom was great but smelled a bit musty every time we turned it on. Beautiful view of the sun rising over the mountain skyline - thank you for a lovely stay.

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone with mobility issues as it does not have step free access from gate entrance to front door of the bungalow, with even more steps to the pool area. Considering how close you are to the centre, prepare for loud music until at least 4am every night! Soundproofing would be nice. New toilet brush needed, it hadn’t been replaced / cleaned from the previous guests. Uncomfortable bed, the mattress was very firm which some people prefer but a mattress topper would’ve benefited our stay. The sofa wasn’t too comfy either. The balcony is shaded by 2pm and the pool & solarium are shaded by 5pm (we went in March / April) due to the side of the valley this bungalow is on. Given the price we paid, we didn’t mind but would definitely take it into consideration if we were ever visiting Puerto Rico again.

La decoración, la limpieza y la terraza aunque no tiene vista al mar.

Que si no tienes coche hay que subir y bajar más de 200 escalones todos los días para ir a la playa y con las bolsas de la compra! Me molestó mucho encontrarme en todo el complejo y sobretodo en la puerta de entrada del alojamiento muchas cucarachas, así que mejor no abrir las ventanas. La poca flexibilidad en los horarios de entrada y de salida… te cobran 10€ si quieres retrasar tu salida! Me pareció un disparate! La televisión que no funcionaba bien así como el desagüe de la ducha que estaba atascado.
