Apartamento 309 frente al mar en Alcossebre

A nice apartment in a really good location, only a short walk from Las Fuentes beach, a supermarket, pharmacy and a few cafes. A longer, pleasant walk to the marina and the centre of town which takes 15-20 minutes or so. The apartment was clean and smelled fresh on our arrival. The surrounding grounds and area are well kept and pleasant. The area is busy but quite peaceful with no real disruptive noise. It has a lovely balcony with comfortable seating and a sea view. The air conditioning and fan in the bedroom worked very well and was much appreciated in the summer heat. The bathroom is small but works well and has a good shower. The washing machine was useful. Car parking is available and although it gets busy we always managed to find a spot nearby.

There are some improvements which could be easily made which would turn this from an OK apartment into a really nice one. The whole apartment needs a lick of paint and an update in decor. Better quality, cotton bedding and new, plumper pillows. It would have been nice to have had a change of bed linen available as it was very hot in July. Better quality, absorbent towels and more of them made available. After a week the 2 bath towels and one hand towel we had were a bit smelly and in need of a wash. A drying rack of some sort would be useful to dry clothes. Some door handles are needed on all the cupboards. They were tricky to open without any. The kitchen tap leaks badly when moved to certain angles. Needs repairing. The kitchenette is OK but only suitable for drinks and snacks. A rethink and reorganization of this area is needed. There isn't room for a full kitchen but it could be rejigged to make it easier to prepare drinks and snacks. The kettle, microwave and toaster were the most useful items. More mugs and glass tumblers are needed. No tea towels were available to dry crockery. There are a few stairs to access the property so you need to be able to lift your suitcases up these. Not suitable if you have any mobility or strength issues.

The apartment is in the perfect location, near the sea. It has a nice balcony, looking out to the sea. The bed is extremely comfortable. Entry by lock box is convenient. The apartment is light and very quiet. Excellent restaurants nearby...

The power tripped out 4x while we were there even if we were not using any appliances... Some of the furniture is flimsy/cheap and kitchen and bathroom have 'plastic' tiles...

A pocos minutos de la playa.

Era muy pequeño e incomodo en general. No se notaba limpio. Tuvimos que lavar las sábanas ante la duda de si habían estado mucho tiempo guardadas o no estaban limpias.
