The hotel was okay, but it didn’t really meet our expectations. The positive aspects have already been mentioned in other reviews, so I won’t repeat them.

The hotel is not very family-friendly. The breakfast is overpriced, especially for families. We were surprised that children under 12 are charged the full breakfast price. In many hotels around the world, children of that age either eat free of charge or receive at least a 50% discount, as they usually eat very little. The bathroom amenities were also disappointing. Apart from basic soap and shampoo, there were no additional toiletries or hygiene items provided. The biggest issue was the toilet. As a family of four, we often had to wait around 10 minutes between uses because it wouldn’t flush properly several times in a row. This was frustrating and inconvenient.

The hotel's location is superb for visitors wishing to spend more time in Sibiu Old Town. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection was good and the availability of carpark was a huge bonus (note extra charge required for both).

The bed was a bit too hard for a side sleeper.
