Great location to explore Furnas and Nordeste. Charming house, exceptionally nice staff.
Quite overpriced for what it was, breakfast was very average. You can hear a lot other guests on corridors and on terrace walking next to your window, the curtains don’t give full privacy. There was no chairs on terrace. Not much restaurants in the area, we went to Fim de Seculo, and it turned out to be closed even though google said it’s open. We had to drive to next village, got amazing fish stew at Cantinho Do Cala. Next day we went a bit earlier to O Estrela Bar and they also had great fish.

Unless you take a room in the main house, there is not a lot of history to contend with.
Bathroom very dated and room layout awkward. Whole place in need of upgrade.
