Honeypot Cottage

Cozy and warm - and quiet but still close to the fun.

Nothing. It was great.

Perfect location for walking into town. Beautiful views. The cottage had everything we needed and was homely.

There is nothing we did not like.

Very clean and well presented. Comfortable beds well stocked kitchen - clean towels , comfortable beds. Car parking included at front of property ...Lovely view of fields , fell and horses grazing at rear from upstairs and garden to front with seating 😃👍

Nothing Really - would point out that for less mobile people, the property is at the top of a fairly steep hill approx 1/2mile from Centre of Ambleside, but ok if using car or reasonably fit and able......

We loved the location, it wasn't in the centre of Ambleside - it's up a hill which is good to note if you don't drive like us - but it had a good mix between being secluded and being well connected we think. Also loved the cottage vibe overall. The views are beautiful from the window either side of the house and it was quiet and cosy inside. Also the pictures on the website don't do this place justice! It was much more tasteful looking than it appears online.

One big issue we had was the check-in time and check-out time for the property. Most Airbnb and booking.com properties we've stayed in (and we've stayed in many over the years) all over the world don't have such a late check in time and early check out time, this made us feel like it was a bit expensive/rip off for our money's worth due to that factor.
