Absolutely lovely house and location. We are an experienced Lake District group and have been staying in the Lakes for over 40 years for the walking and scenery. Hawkshead Hall is a lovely house in a great location which allowed us to do all the things we wanted to do.
A couple of the bedside lamps in the top floor bedrooms were faulty but there was nothing we about the house we disliked, apart from not staying long enough to make the most of the outside.

Great stay in a great location and a nice house to host my wife's birthday. Good sense of privacy. Extra games room is great. Nice and clean.
The instructions for the heating were not easy to follow. I thought we had managed to turn it on, but it turns out most people had cold showers and it was a bit chilly in the evenings.
