Gîte de l'Abbaye - Two Bedroom House, Sleeps 4

We propose to you to the rent, on the commune of Brandivy, this charming house of a surface of 70 m ² and being able to accomodate 4 travellers. It is composed of a nice living room of 28 m² (with fireplace), an open equipped kitchen, two beautiful bedrooms, two bathrooms and two terraces to enjoy the beautiful days. Wifi, sheets and towels included, we are waiting for you!

The accommodation is composed as follows:
On the ground floor :
- A living room of 28 m² with fireplace (wood provided), sofa, armchairs and dining area.
- An open kitchen equipped with electric kettle, oven, microwave oven, toaster, dishwasher, hotplates, filter coffee machine...
On the 1st floor :
- Bedroom 1: a queen-size bed (160x200).
- A bathroom with shower.
- Separate toilet.
On the 2nd floor :
- Bedroom 2: a queen-size bed (160x200) or two single beds (on request)
- A bathroom with shower and WC.

A rustic gîte, the living room and kitchen stay cool in summer and winter. In the cold season, the Porte des moines gîte is preferable.

Outside :
- A first terrace of about 20 m², facing East and bordered by the walls of the old abbey.
- A second terrace of about 25 m², exposed West with claustra in the North and opened on the West, without opposite.
Outdoor furniture, table and chairs, at your disposal.

The house is ideally located in Brandivy, in a very pleasant environment in the middle of the countryside, ideal to rest in the middle of the trees, in the perimeter of the old Cistercian abbey founded in 1138. You will be able to benefit from all the essential shops nearby.

Activities :
- Tourist sites: Vannes (the ancient medieval city, at the gates of the Gulf of Morbihan), the peninsula of Quiberon, the old town of Auray and the very popular port of Saint-Goustan, the forests of Lanvaux, Fleuranges and Camors, the thousand-year-old city of Josselin...
- Sporting activities : Hiking, cycling and horseback riding, accrobranche in the forest of Camors
- Cultural visits : Megalithic sites (Carnac and its alignments), cruises on the Gulf of Morbihan (an inland sea dotted with islands and famous for its oysters), the castle of Suscinio...
- Gastronomic heritage: oysters, salted butter caramel, Quiberon's niniches...

Parking :
To park your car, there is a collective parking lot located at the entrance of the domain.

As for other means of transportation, here is some information that may be useful to you:
- Nearest train station: Auray train station located at about 20 minutes by car.
- Nearest airport: Lorient Bretagne Sud airport located at about 40 minutes by car.
- Bus lines to Auray and Vannes stations.

- Free Wifi.
- On request : plancha, steamer, hair dryer, radio, baby bed.
- You will have access to the shared laundry room, equipped with a washing machine and a dryer, located in the mansion and not in the gite.
- The sofa bed in the living room offers additional sleeping space if needed.
- The fireplace is functional and wood is provided.
- Animals are not allowed in the house.
- The end of stay cleaning includes the preparation of the accommodation for future visitors. Please leave it in a clean and tidy condition and clean the appliances after use.
