In Raleigh for wedding. Rental was perfect - amenities were nice and as described. Would recommend.

This was a beautiful home: spacious, well-furnished, open layout. The host was very gracious and kind, allowing us to check in early to accommodate a situation with an infant. The dishwasher leaked, which we were unaware of, and had obviously been an issue based on the stained floorboards in the kitchen. The cookware provided was lacking: non-stick pans were heavily scratched. Spices provided were extremely out of date and just forgotten remnants. I had an issue regarding the pool. The listing stated that the rental came with pool and hot tub. These were some of the top considerations for my party. When we decided to go to the pool/hot tub, we found listed on the information card with the key an address. I thought perhaps it was a community pool and would be just a few houses down. No. It was A MILE away. A mile! We walked to the address provided on the information card, not realizing it was so far. Walking in our group was a person with a physical disability and two young children. We had two cross a major road to get there. And when we finally arrived, it was closed! For no apparent reason. Additionally, we could see bathrooms and a covered seating area, but no hot tub. It was extremely disappointing. There were quite a few tears shed as we had promised a swim in the pool. If the residence claims to have a pool/hot tub, tit ought to be within a reasonable distance. And if it's a community pool, I think that should be noted in the listing. Especially one a MILE away.
