About this cottage rental
Whether you plan to hike the trails, ski, snow-tube, fish, or just chill out amid the privacy and seclusion of 55 woodland acres, you’ll love this riverfront cottage. Experience the ultimate relaxation, with both a hot tub and sauna. Your family/friend group will love gathering, grilling, and dining on the large patio and making memories around the fire table. Play your choice of 20 games on the arcade console. You’re just a 4-min drive to Hwy 11, providing easy access. You have access to everything in the home except garage and the basement. The hosts will on occasion need to access these areas for maintenance purposes and there are staff available on the property during your stay.

The cottage is close to Highway 11 (4-min drive), providing quick access for overnight stays. We are close by and will be available during your stay via the Vrbo platform, phone, text or email. A security camera is installed at the entrance gate to the property.
No parties permitted per VRBO regulations.
No pets permitted.
Should you wish to bring a larger group, you’ll find 3 additional spaces on the property available to book. Other guests may book these spaces during your stay and may share the swimming raft and trails; however, the spaces are far enough from the cottage to ensure your full privacy. A Tiny House is visible from the cottage and is 50 meters away, while a treehouse is far away from the cottage.
Main floor, including living-room, dining-room, kitchen, bathroom, master bedroom, and patio, is wheelchair accessible.
Property manager is onsite and resides on the basement level.
The roads into the property are well plowed but require good winter tires or all-wheel-drive to access the property during winter months because of steep hills. Another option is to stop at the entrance parking area, and host will transport you and your gear to the cottage.

Very nicely appointed property, true to the listing. Had to communicate a few times with the owner & he,was always very prompt getting back to us. Absolutely gorgeous property. We had a few snowfalls during our week long stay & it was like a winter wonderland. We would recommend remiving the single bed in the main floor bedrm in favour of a dresser & hooks on the walls in the bedrooms, as the closets are locked with the owner's personal items & so couldn't unpack & had to luce out of our suitcases. A few more hooks out on the deck by the hottub would also be useful for towels. Overall, a terrific property & we would defintely stay here again.

I very much loved this cabin and we do plan to return. It was quiet and peaceful and the private hiking trail was a nice relaxing walk. The hot tub made for excellent viewing of the Northern Lights.

We needed a place to stay with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths for a nearby wedding.
This property looked perfect from the ad and did not disappoint when we arrived.
The check-in was simple and the property clean and well equipped.
The place definitely has a cottage feel (which is what we were looking for) but had all the comforts you'd want. There is a very large covered deck with a hot tub, fire table and a small sauna as well as a BBQ, hammock and nice swing chairs.
Unfortunately we had unseasonably poor weather while we were there (rain and cold) so we didn't have the opportunity to use the outdoor facilities but everything looked in good shape and I'm sure would be great on a nice, dry day.
Fortunately they had a fun electronic tabletop game that we enjoyed playing things like Yahtzee, Operation and Trivial Pursuit for lots of laughs over a bottle or two of wine.
Not tons of indoor seating if you have a larger party that gets stuck inside due to bad weather and the driveway in might be interesting on a snowy day, but it worked perfectly for what we needed it for.

Everything looked great online. When we got there we were a little bit disappointed and felt a bit blind sided as the owner lived in the basement of the cottage as well as had a dog that was friendly but also had a lot of energy that didn’t mix well. There wasn’t as many trails around as we had hoped and were under the impression of. The owner was so friendly and he was very helpful but not necessary what we were hoping for
