About this cottage rental

Nestled among the tall pines on the shore of Proctor pond sits this sweet cottage with all the conveniences of home. This is one of only a few homes on this large, clean, tranquil pond and it features a private dock, 200’ of private waterfront and use of kayaks, a paddle board, pedal boat and more. Paddle or swim at sunset or enjoy the view from the large deck or sunroom with views of the water. Kid and pet friendly with a pack n play, books, games and USCG life jackets of all sizes. If you want to venture out you are just 20 minutes from skiing or mountain biking at Sunday River and Mt Abram and the villages of Bethel and a Norway, with shops, restaurants and more. Inside the main house you’ll find one bedroom with a queen bed, a full kitchen and bathroom and a living room and sunroom with two sleeper sofas. Come enjoy the beauty and tranquility of this rare private setting.

Everything was so easy for checking in! The house was very well stocked with anything you would need. There were even extras just in case you forgot something like a tooth brush shampoo etc... Everything was neat and tidy when we arrived! The fishing on the pond was great! Caught plenty of bass and pickerel! Plenty of hiking to do nearby! And the best part was we were able to bring our two pups with us! They had a blast on the pond! The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with! Would definitely love to visit again!
