Now there is the opportunity to enjoy an Öland farm in a beautiful, newly renovated limestone house with a lot of soul in Frösslunda on Östra Öland. You have a stone-paved courtyard surrounded by a wall of Öland stone as well as an astonishingly beautiful ruin covered with ivy, here you can enjoy the outdoor furniture and sunbeds. The house has incredible space as it is open up to the roof ridge and has a large, beautiful window for light. The kitchen is equipped with a convection oven, microwave and perculator. There is a wood-burning stove where you can enjoy a warming fire (wood included). A steep staircase leads up to the cozy sleeping loft with a double bed, where you have an overview of the beautiful house. Bathroom with shower cubicle and combustion toilet. The courtyard is delimited by a lower wall and gate towards the homeowner's courtyard. Dog-friendly dogs are welcome to be let loose in the fenced courtyard. The house is located right by the Frösslunda marsh, which is popular for birdwatchers and those interested in nature. Cows graze right outside the house and you are welcome to walk in the meadows where they go. Stora Alvarleden is nearby if you want to move, otherwise there are many other nice walking paths. You have 4 km to the nearest bath. If you want a larger swimming area, there is Stenåsabadet 7km away with a nice shallow sandy beach, summer restaurant and adventure golf as well as a bird tower for bird watching. Here there are lands with rich plant and animal life. Ottenby is also nearby for day trips. You have about 2 miles to both Mörbylånga and Färjestaden, where there are grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Gårdby Kafé & Lanthandel with its garden cafe and interior design shop is a popular destination. There is a lot to explore on Öland, don't miss the Öland Castle Ruins where you can really feel the wings of history. Also enjoy Öland's body cakes.
