Quiet neighborhood with limited traffic, perfect part of the lake for low-key getaway. Property overall is functional with basic amenities. Listing description is accurate, but future guests should be better informed.Concrete, sloping driveway in good condition.There are dozens of steps to the water. That's not a hit on the property, just a fact for the hillside location.The kitchen/back deck is on the lower level. There is a narrow staircase inside the house between the TV, bedroom, and bathroom.You will climb to the top every time you need to use the bathroom.No WiFi, if that concerns you.Wooden steps in need of repair were reported to the manager who promised to address them.It is evident from the aging condition of deck, steps, dock, swing, and dock ladder that the property owners are not making any significant improvements to the unit at this point, just basic maintenance and cleaning. Everything is functional and acceptable for a VRBO in this price range, in my opinion.Linens were clean, pillows and bedding were comfortable, and bathroom was very clean. Light odor initially, but dissipated once the plumbing had been used a few times.Kitchen appliances work well, primary surfaces in the house were clean. Cobwebs and dead bugs noted in a few corners on the kitchen level, but not unreasonable. Perhaps some time had passed since previous cleaning.Future guests should bring: normal teaspoons, normal size cereal bowls, and sharp knives.

The house is very cute little place for a stay on the lake. The bedroom with 2 beds had several dead bugs along the wall, maybe just need cleaned a little better. Overall house was very cute. There are, I believe, 62 steps down to the dock, where the kids lived jumping off and enjoying the water. Thank you for having us. Loved the painting on the dining room wall. Best view around.

We reserved this house as a short anniversary get-away. Had we known some of these little details sooner, we likely would not have rented this house. With that said, it was not a complete bust and we did enjoy our weekend.
Bad news first. CONS: *This home is absolutely not for anyone with bad knees or problems walking/climbing. The main floor holds two bedrooms, LR and large bathroom. The kitchen/dining room is located downstairs. Staircase is narrow and has around 15 steps to get down (and back up) * The house has a very strong odor. Similar to old bacon smell. (Thats the best way we know to describe it), *There is no Wifi. But, we were able to connect to our hotspot with no issues. We could not get the TV in the bedroom to work for some reason, though. *To get to the dock, You have to climb down (and back up) 60 very steep steps. *The grill had not been cleaned and patio furniture was falling apart.
PROS: *The view of the lake is incredible. *the large jetted tub was perfect as was the temp of hot water *the exterior flowers and fire-pit area was pretty. *the swing on the dock was relaxing *the bed in Master was comfortable *home is in a nice, quiet location *management company was pleasant to deal with and quick to respond to emails.
